Elektra Records did release the Leathur Records version on lp in Canada, only on promo pressings. The Crue were on tour in Canada before the remix was done and they wanted to have something out on vinyl.
I love Tommy’s playing and Vince’s voice on this album. Imagine running around on the sunset strip being 17 and 18 years old and coming out with this. They were the kings of the strip
I remember when I first started going to see them in clubs, they seemed pretty heavy. Maybe I was just fooled by how loud they played. But when they released that first version of Too Fast for Love I was surprised by how poppy it was. But Peice of Your Action was the one stand out track that seemed more indicative of what they were like live. 🤷♂️
there is something about that guitar sound that I really don't like, but it is the thing that makes me love the 'raw' sound of it. Seems kind of 'tinny' like through a cheap amp a garage band would use. I also like that the drums and bass are where they belong in the mix on this version. On the Elektra(fourth) version, they are too much 'up front' and bury the guitar and almost put the vocals in the background.
great song from one of the best albums ever
leathur best records of too fast for love!
Man... thx for uploading this album. It's been yrs since I've heard the leathur version.
I think this was the version that was on the flip side of Looks That Kill 45 single. They earned a new fan the day i bought that record.

Saw this tour Crue opened up for Kiss at the universal amphitheatre.

That sound makes me think he used alot of reverb
I love that guitar sound
I think I prefer the cleaner guitar of the Elektra version; this sounds a bit too muddy during the faster guitar parts.
This sounds slowed down compared to TFFL Elektra version
I like the Elektra version better
Wonder what he's talking about paice of your action .....hehe😜
Not bad
not as bad as their later stuff anyway 😂
