What is the purpose of having the wheel head turning when running the cut off wire under the pot! I see some that have the wheel turning and some stop the wheel before wiring the pony off.
If you use a "shell wire" which has a twist in it, as you run it under with the wheel turning slowly it will leave a spiral "shell" pattern on the bottom, looks quite nice.
