If he fails to return to the UK and have it renewed, that ban will expire within the next year. That could open a whole new can of worms for Harry/Meghan & the Royal Family.

I agree that a move won't solve Harry's problems but, I disagree that Meghan will follow him here. I can see several reasons Harry would want to return to the UK. As crumby as Harry is, I do think he wants a relationship with his father and if the rumors are true, time to reconnect could be quite limited. On the other hand, Meghan doesn't share or appreciate the history Harry has with his father. I suspect her pride would prevent her from showing respect for any member of the Royal Family, including Harry. She would remain in California and play the abandon wife.
