​@@voidlands2 he can't experience resets though. he knows they exist, saw data somewhere proving the existence of resets, and interprets them as yours since he doesn't actually know about flowey. he's not sure if you're actually doing everything for the first time, or if you've done it in a previous timeline.
if you want proof, after your first true reset post-genocide, him and papyrus get repeated moments of deja vu during their puzzles, something that doesn't happen on a first playthrough.
