To all of the guys bitching about the production...yes this is the final mix, however, this is a mono stream - the left and the right channels have been mixed together. Albums are not meant to be listened to that way - so there's going to be some strange things that change the way the mix sounds when you fold down the two channels together - both phase issues and certain things ending up louder than intended (such as the bass drum in this stream)...rest assured, I have heard the album and it sounds a lot better. In fact, all you have to do is listen to the official versions of the two singles they have released already to hear how much better it sounds. This is free, and it's awesome that they did this - and I don't blame them for sacrificing some quality in order to beat some advanced piracy. The bottom line - go buy the album and support one of the hardest working bands in the world!
I think Silly Beast really displays your growth as musicians. Impressive. Morgan Rose is an amazing drummer at that, never ceases to amaze me.

Such a talented group, they dont get enough credit for how good they truly are
they should have won that grammy. The songs they were against werent even close on the feeling LJ puts into the music. anyone who gets to meet them will see talk for more than 30 seconds to them and you'll see how genuine they are. Seven months in a row, nonstop, day and night, on the way to school, back home from school, and throughout the rest of the day... for seven straight months, I couldn't stop listening to them. They're the biggest influence that got me to learn more about music and I'm more obsessed with the band when I get to know something new! Unbelievably underrated and always stood to test of time.
16:17 is where this album gave me chills. Best song imo
Chop should be a single. It's brutal as fuck and has a taste of everything Sevendust have done in their career in one stomping ass song.
+DigThroughTheClay After a full listen of this album, that's the one that definitely stands out as being the best track to me. Absolutely killer grooves.
It's got that groove, but with that kinda Home era feel to it, combined with Time Travelers acoustic, and an Animosity chorus. It's that blending of feels that just shows in one song exactly what Sevendust are in my opinion. Killer album all the way through, and typical of most bands the first single is the weakest song on the album.
I actually have to disagree on that last part. I personally think Thank You is one of the better songs on the album. Either way, I'm excited to get my hands on this so I can jam to it in the car on the way to work!
+SnareSpectre It's by no means a weak song itself, just feels the weakest to me especially as a single. As the kick off of the album it's perfect. I think I'm not using the right word with "weak" though.
+DigThroughTheClay just because a song is "brutal" doesnt mean it should be a single. if you want "brutal" go listen to cannibal corpse. if you want good music..sevendust is where its at.

Brothers of 7D....This is truly beautiful to be a fan of this band for 18 years now. I was 10 years old when I heard my first Sevendust track. Nobody had shown me them either. I stumbled across them bc of local radio and it's been like Christmas every album release and live concert since. Love to the family of Sevendust. There's no fan base like theirs.
These guys deserve awards for being one of the most kick ass and consistent metal band who produced quality music for such a stretch

this is actually a good idea, I like previewing an album before I pull the trigger, even though I already know I'm going to buy it because its sevendust but I don't need full quality to tell if I'll buy whole thing or just some songs

What a solid album!! Man, "Letters" takes me back to older Sevendust. it kind of reminds me of one of my favorite Sevendust songs "Live Again." The hooks are sick! Heavy is good, but Sevendust can write such catchy songs outside of that realm too. "Letters" reflects such intricacies & melody. LOVE it!

These guys are some of the hardest working musicians IMO. They have been putting out decent albums and touring since I was a kid. Not many bands dedicate themselves to the process for that long.

I'm enjoying this album more and more. My personal favorite songs are "Kill The Flaw", "Peace and Destruction", "Silly Beast", "Cease and Desist", and "Forget".
***** "Death Dance" and "Chop" are actually the two songs that are growers for me. I'm liking them more the more I listen to them.
***** I think this is better than both Black Out The Sun and Cold Day Memory. The best album since Clint's return and one of their best altogether. Yes, I love "Cease and Desist" especially that guitar solo. In fact, I love all of the solos on this album and I'm glad they're doing more of them.
+C-Wad1984 Definitely agree it's the best since Clint came back, of the electric albums. Time Travelers is it's own perfect special thing. I do miss the speed of Alpha though. Says the guy that loves the slow beating of Home.

I listened to this on my iphone and it sounded way better than it does on a desktop. I think it's because of the mixing and UA-cam.

I have been listening to this album on almost a daily basis for the past two years. I can't get enough of it! This, by far, is one of my favorite Sevendust albums if not one of my all time favorites! Their music has continued to transform throughout the years and as I have gotten older, I have felt every song speak to me in those times in my life. The good, the bad, the ugly, and the depths of hell.
Forget is the most powerful song on this Album.
Death Dance, Chop, Cease and Desist, Forget and Letters are my favorites.

Bro, These guys are the modern day version of the Beatles, they all sing, they all rock, they all kick ass, and they are loyal to their fans. Hardest working band that keeps climbing for the top. I can gear this a lot better with headphones here than from my tv speakers.
Now i can hear the words easier and determine if i mark this on my CD wishlist or to just keep borrowing from the library once in a while.

Sevendust continues to be one of the best studio and live bands out there. I've prolly seen them live 20+ times and every show they play like it's their last and just leave it all out there. Lajons vocals have gotten better pretty much with every album, and musically they've stayed true to roots but evolved their sound in a positive way. Simply put, these guys are rock n roll. Lucky enuff to meet Lajon and Morgan and they were so chill. Keep on rockin! Keep the incredible music coming please I'll keep listening til my ears bleed baby!!
I've literally been listening to Sevendust since I was in middle school, the first album. They were also my first concert. Saw the boys 3 times thankfully and it's nice to see they still bring it to this day! Long live Sevendust!
