So if you notice around @0:06 that telehandler is going to have half of it's weight, up to 15k or more on that back tilting ramp. That doesn't seem ideal. #1 That ramp better have a very stout locking mechanism that can handle 15,000+ lbs bouncing up and down on state-maintained highways otherwise there's going to be a spark shower when that ramp slams down on the asphalt and ignites the rest of what didn't burn in CA wildfires. #2 With all that weight in the back, there is going to be some serious-tail swing. #3 If you try to load the tele handler on the belly, you are going to be putting far more 'pin weight' in the back of those 1-tons. Even though some like the 4500/5500 can handle 10,000 lbs in the back, when you put half of 40,000 pounds in the back, it's going to bottom out that poor truck and shorten the lift of the transmission. Might just be better to drive the telehandler to the site rather than try and move it with one of these trailers as I would worry what it would do to diminish the life of a 100k truck. I think Used Big Rig and Used Landall will be a better option.

Howdy! Just a note, the telehandler is parked right in front of the hinge point of the ramp, so it is not on the dovetail at all while driving down the road.

Josh, you’ll need to check the rating on your specific truck. Typically, people will use 4500’s for these.

No it can’t. only truck that can tow 40,000lbs is the 2023 Ford F450z

@@stevesmith8107 it would be too much axle for the trailer frame. We engineer our trailers to be suitable for the axle carrying capacity, and the YHX is built to handle 40,000lbs maximum.

We don't do a steel floor deck on these, but you can get oak or blackwood decking though.
