- Ford CEO Jim Farley says that Ford's investment to rebuild Detroit's Michigan Central Station is a symbol of Ford's own journey as an automaker. The company spent $949 million to turn the property into a new tech-centric center. Farley speaks to Bloomberg's David Westin.

I think that's a bit of a jump -- an executive of the auto industry, which was a primary reason the passenger train industry went asunder, is now pouring money into a passenger train terminal. Seems to me that if you have a passenger train terminal, you ought to have passenger trains and passengers to ride on them. Other than that, the result is a pretty building which will probably turn into a mall or other type of shopping center, the passenger train facility being long forgotten.
Don't get how they pay for this when they say they are losing millions of dollars right now and sales are going to hell. Good luck.
