They said they were going to strip Canelo in March if you activated the mandatory position and ya didn’t fkn do that, instead you signed a contract in February to fight at 175. You did the opposite of what the WBC told you to do.

I don’t think they know what mandatory means, David has been the number 1 contender for 3 years. He just became the MANDATORY in march. In February he signed a contract to move up to 175 instead of forcing his mandatory status 💀

Why didn't you ask Jose about fighting the other dangerous 168s in the division like David Morrell? Why doesn't your son fight David Morrell and the other guys at 168 and clean out the division?

The question we should be asking why did Benavides avoided David Morell? They had a 3 fight deal with PBC and the 3 fighters Benavides was supposed to fight were Plant, Andrade, and David Morell. I could tell Sr Benavides is money hungry and is obsessed with Canelo's money. The question we should be asking is why is David Bumvides not fighting David Morell? Benavides was on a 3 fight deal with PBC. The fighters he was supposed to fight was Plant, Andrade, and David Morell. He fought Plant and Andrade but he chicken out to fight David Morell. Morell called him out and called him a coward for not fighting him after all.

Reporters should be asking the right questions: Where was David Benavides when Canelo was cleaning out the division? While Canelo was cleaning up the division and unifying belts, David Benavides was fighting the weakest boxers. Then Canelo knocked out Caleb Plant which had a belt at that time. After that, David Benavides fought Plant and went the full 12 rounds and he couldn't knocked him out. Also, wasn't David in a 3 fight deal with PBC and the fighters he was supposed to fight was Plant, Andrade and David Morell? He fought Plant and 35 yr old Andrade, but he chickened out from fighting David Morell. So now he rather fight a 36 yr old boxer at 175 lbs than fight David Morell? David Morell is an Olympic gold medalist 🏅 boxer who he has been knocking everyone out. He has held the WBA Interim super middleweight title since 2021. He was supposed to fight David Benavides last November but Jose Benavides Sr cancelled that fight and they decided to fight Andrade instead. So basically David Benavides never finished the 3 fight deal with PBC because he chickened out from fighting David Morell and decided to fight a 36 yr boxer at 175 lbs in June instead of fighting David Morell.
