I live in Arizona and watching your video brought so much joy to my heart. I miss the beach sooo much. I could spend all day doing what you're doing. I would be there at sunrise and have to leave when it gets dark. Time is irrelevant when you're enjoying yourself.

I am disabled and not able to walk or get around now and watching this video has been so uplifting to me. God bless you both, and thank you for this video. I am so happy you showed up on my feed. I lived in NC, SC for 26 years. Always inland, but trips to the beach were taken as much as possible. I miss the sound of the waves and the smell of the clean salt air. So peaceful, and soul restoring. I know I could really feel the closeness of our Lord in the peace the water brings. I miss it so much, having now been away 23 years. I had a glass lamp that I put my shell treasures in, that disappeared during a move. Just is not the same with store bought shells. My husband and I went to Sanibel about 30 years ago, The locals always got the big shells. We did get a lot of gorgeous small shells, most the size of a periwinkle. But I was happy. the best sand dollar finding was Myrtle Beach in the winter. So easy to find the air holes in the mud. I subscribed, and look forward your next video. Love to hear you talk, with your "accent". I still have some in me at times. Great to see a video by a loving Christian couple, too. Thank you again.

Oh how I wish I was there with you guys! Finding treasures as I call them too, is one of my favorite things to do in life. I never get tired of it. I have so many storage totes full of beach treasures that I have been collecting since my first trip to the beach when I was 12 years old. I am now 71! I have bowls and baskets and dishes throughout my home where I display and enjoy my ocean finds . There are a lot of my shells that I can remember exactly where my husband, daughter or I have find them over the years. We really enjoyed this video watching you find these gifts from the sea. I squealed everytime you found a great one!! 🐚

The shells in Florida are gorgeous, they wash up in droves of same shell and you go the next day and it’ll be a different shell. Beautiful colors and seaweed is burgundy in color. Great finds!

This was so much fun! Glad I found you. I grew up on the southern coast of Oregon, so our coast and shells are a lot different than yours. Also from my experience there are so many less than there used to be when I was younger (I'm 62). Storm watching and the finds after are a wonderful pasttime!

We have to keep moving along pretty quickly to cover as much area as possible during the limited amount of time that we had. We have visited Sanibel, it is truly a shelling hoarders paradise! 🐚🤗

I have found only one in my life at Edisto but it wasn't as pretty as that one. Whoo Hoo!! I was squealing! I have so missed you guys walking, talking and finding treasures. All those olives were amazing! Can't wait for more. It made my day!

Stephanie and Oliver, have you ever noticed a broken sand dollar where the edges have grown over and repaired himself? They aren't round anymore, but take on the new shape of repair. Reminds me of how some people have injuries, but heal from them.
Yes, we do see those occasionally. 😊 That's a good analogy.
GOD created an organ in the human body that is like the sand dollar....its the liver and the only organ that can regenerate itself. We can live without quite a few organs such as the spleen, appendix, thyroid, gall bladder but the liver is essential. We can transplant it but cannot live without it. We need to be more grateful for each of the parts of our bodies because we can loose them anytime. I lost the corneas in both of my eyes in 2018 and was going blind. The Surgeon used Cadaver corneas and I no longer need to be concerned. They took my dead corneas which removed the disease I had, Fuchs Dystrophy and restored my sight. PRAISE GOD for HIS many BLESSINGS!!!

How joyous it was to go back to the barrier island with you and Steph today! I have really missed the long walks….toward the end of the film when you found that metal box, I was hoping for a closer inspection just to make sure it wasn’t the remnant of an old pirate’s treasure chest! I love finding your channel. Enjoyed y'all so much. I'm a female Air Force Veteran. My husband is an AF Veteran as well. I started beach combing in Japan and absolutely loved finding all sorts of treasures from beautiful Japanese colored glass fishing floats to shells and more. I miss it. Going along with y'all I'm learning my shells and more. We would beachcomb comb for hours and hours on the tip of the most Northern Island of Japan, Hokkaido. on the Sea of Japan and all over. We didn't find a lot of shells on the beaches there and even South Texas beaches not a lot, so it's great seeing all you see. Ty!!

@@SaltyReflections yes, it was amazingly wonderful. we found little Japanese treasures, trash, but treasures, lol. I actually found the coolest shells on a desert type area with those huge pyramid bunkers that used to be fir war time stuff....my friend took me. she'd heard about the glass floats there, and shells. well.. long story short... the area we walked for hours was still live or??? and we got picked up by Japanese police or security, e.t.c. I was furious at my friend to say the least, and then thankful we were ok. geeez. the things we do for nature, lol. My husky dog always went with us, he got hit by a rickety old old school bus train they used, this was on the Sea ok f Japan side, lucky i learned the language and we got him to a vet, stabilized him and hit him home for surgery, he beat all odds and was fine🙏🏻🐾🐾. thx again you two!! great videos! will be one of my go to's for sure. lol

I live on Mobile Bay and after big storms we get a lot of "sea glass" and "pottery shards"...some of which probably washed up from churning up water around the shipwrecks in the bay! Very cool 😎

This beach walk video popped up on my screen after viewing several storm related pages. Thanks for some great entertainment. I've now gone back and watched fishing, crabing and shrimping episodes. I'm 72, live in WV, go to OBX, NC once a year in off season, and enjoy you both so much.

Yes, we are blessed. We set that as our goal to move here many, many years ago. It has taken us a lot of dedication & long hours of hard work to achieve our dream. And, of course, we are still working hard to be able to continue to live here. 🥵🤑🏠🌊 Praise the Lord for giving us the ability & ambition to make it happen. We are truly grateful to live in this beautiful area & take full advantage of trying to enjoy it as much as possible! We are so thankful to be spared by Hurricane Idalia! I always went shelling at the beach! We would go sheling at an island in the gulf. It was off limits during certain months as it was a bird sanctuary. One day, i found so many conch shells. I ❤️ it!!!
Awesome! They section off certain areas along our beaches here some months, too, during certain birds' nesting season. Shelling is a lot of fun, a treasure hunt for all ages! Thanks for joining us on our treasure hunting adventure! 🌊🐚👣

Yeh, back to the beach! I found it better to walk the beach with the sun behind me, shining on the shells. On the way back, the sun would be shining in your face. Off of Sapelo Island, GA, you can find beautifully colored cockles. They are still attached. Both halves. Have to get there by boat. That rare shell you found is a beauty! Love to follow you both on Labor Day Monday!

I find it interesting when you take those oddly shaped broken shells that have openings and string them together. Hang them up outside from a tree. I like having unusual shells hanging in my yard.
