- My entry to the Brickfilms/BrickFest Contest 2006 "Fame, Infamy, Glory."
Much to my satisfaction, this film placed 3rd overall, putting me into prize contention, behind two other awesome films deserving of their higher placement ("Grace" and "Beast," in that order). I barely beat another worthy film (High Tower's "Edison") by about 0.5 points.
Watching this Brickfilm in 2008 as a young kid really inspired me to make video's and make me the person I am today. I originally wanted to make video's like this as a career, but I got worried if anyone would make fun of me for this. but thank you MindGame Studios for inspiring me and other people to make LEGO animations.
Hey, in Nathan Well's Beast (his entry for the contest), you see Nathan and Zach in the Cafe, and you overhear Zach saying "-some kid accidently stops the robber...". I assume that was this?
And it wasn't even his skateboard, lol.
Damn this was 12 years ago. And I still remember this video. Man

If he hadn't slipped over that skateboard, then the skateboard wouldn't of tripped the robber because it would slow down. But you are right about that skateboard not being his.

It's not bad, but you need to cut each shot shorter. You linger too long, killing the pace of the film, which should move quicker. Keep at it. Like anything, the more you do it, the better you will become at doing it.
