  • I'm starting this series of jam videos where I feature Eurorack modules or kits sent to me by my fellow makers! I think it's a good chance for me to sit down and make music while also showcasing what people from the SynthDIY community have been producing!
Kicking-off this new series with the SYNTH MOD LFO and SCoPE by @modulove ! They're a small group of synthesizer enthusiasts based in Hamburg. They make DIY Euroack Synthesizer kits that are also open-source -- which I really love because I think it helps push the DIY synth movement even further.
The SYNTH MOD LFO is an Arduino-based LFO inspired by @HAGIWO 's Sync LFO.
    It features:
    3 Outputs (Unipolar 0-10V, Inverted 0-10V, Bi-polar -/+10V)
A Clock Sync input that let's you use an external clock
    Amplitude Control
Time control (works as a Phase Offset knob when an external clock is being used)
Shape control (Steady voltage, Rise, Fall, Sine, Triangle, Square, and S&H)
A Self Modulation mode that adds randomness to the standard shapes, watch the video to see what I mean!
They sent the modules to me as a PCB+Panel kit. The SMT parts were already soldered on, so I only had to source the Arduino, jacks, pots, LEDs, and power pins.

I love this jam, Benjie! Were you using a sequencer to drive the melody and drums?

Thanks, Sarah! It's been a while since I recorded this so I could be wrong, but I think it was the Beatstep Pro.
