I love when comedians use life experiences in their stand up, its much more funnier because the audience can relate. I did the exact same thing for my son but I found out the hard way when I rode his hoverboard and fell off broke every bone in my ankle.

Most of what I see are video games, PC games, a big wide variety of Legos., and RC quadcopters and offroad trucks. Haven't seen much in creative cool toys under $50 - $100. Then there'sa huge jump in prices to $500 - $900 and up for ultra rich toys out normal price ranges. I'm waiting for a quick robot set of Rockem' Sockem' Robots that wont cost you a fortune.

The amount of times I was on a verge of failure and have to go to summer school, man. If i have a kid, I’d make sure he is successful. A quote: You work hard, you RIGHTFULLY deserve a reward. You graduate with every class’s final grade, at minimum, a B-. If he is struggling, I’ll meet his teacher/Councelor and schedule an after school tutor to ensure he is passing his class. I won’t want him to end up like me. Passing grade at a D, to me that’s a failure. Passing grade at a C, to me you might as well offer everyone a diploma. You’re not challenging kids. Sry to all the kids that goes to summer school because to me, not everyone is academically smart. I’m good at math. A’s and B’s. Never good at science, English, and History Class. Even Elected Classes except PE. We all know PE is not even that hard. There’s no reason to fail that class. If everyone graduates with a B- minimum, now that’s a passing grade.

I hated my mom for recommending me to do things i don't like, like getting into pageants, playing her fave sport (joining a team), get singing lessons, etc. And when i say no she'd always retort with, "if i was as tall as you i'd definitely join a pageant.", "i wanted singing lessons but we couldn't afford it." and more, usually about my height. It always pissed me off and felt like she's trying to make me another version of herself. So i rebelled a lot. Lol. My introversion intensified - became so unfriendly and kept to myself a lot. 😅😅 luckily, i still gained friends though. But it stuck to me to be very picky about the people i keep in my company. Now that i'm older, i understood her a bit and would tell her why i don't agree with what she wants and tells her to just go do what you want, don't bother with the judgement of others because it's much better to be able to try out the things you like than be stuck wishing you were able to do them. And yes, when she got a chance for something like a pageant (not really a pageant but more like a costume contest) i helped her splurge on her get up. Man the research i did for that theme they had, it was the first time i ever searched so hard about dressing up so finely and all. She didn't win but she was happy that she got a whole lot of votes anyway. XD

We grew up middle class and for the most part we got everything we wanted, however my mother still said no. My grandma was really poor and my mom not understanding money would ask her for alot of stuff and my grandma who had nothing growing up wanted to get her children everything and while she did say no alot when she did get them stuff she would get mad that she spent food money of barbie dolls and hit my mom with them
