Personally Baron Zemo is not only my favorite C. America villain but one of my favorite Marvel villains. The reason are the exactly the ones you mentioned from 4.10 onward.

Ah..old Zemo, Captain America’s Second greatest villain after Red Skull, The Second one is the best one imo, the best versions of him imo are from the civil war movie and Avengers Earths Mightiest heroes tv show
Baron Zemo is the 3rd or 4th villain of Captain America that I got to know of. Back then even thought I knew Captain America I wasn't that familiar with his rogues gallery the only villain that I knew of was Red Skull mainly because of Spiderman the Animated Series, the second was Herr Kleiser from the Ultimate Avengers the movie 1 and 2 and the 3rd or 4th I can't remember which one came first was the Winter Solider thanks to Marvel Ultimate Alliance, I got to know Baron Zemo from a comic book I found in a library I can't remember the name but I didn't got a change to read it just the beginning pages but that is where I got to learn about Baron Zemo.
But Heinrich Zemo wasn't killed by Captain America directly. It was by proxy. And even if Heinrich didn't kill Bucky, he still probably killed many others lol

I love Helmut. He is one of my favourite marvel villains. His obsession with Cap and his development as a,character over the years is amazing.

You know what I noticed the Zemos have a lot in common with the Osborns
The difference is that in my opinion for the Osborns the father is the better villain while for the Zemos, the son is the better villain.
