I met you briefly at IMTS and we kibitz’d a little about a UMC-750 Air tank cylinder end job you did that looked just like one my local HFO apps guy and I’ve been working on (that’s Day Job though). Does Haas build it's own control's? Or do they have Fanuc control's on those machines? They don't look like Fanuc controls. I never operated a Haas before that's why I'm asking.

Can you show us how to face a part using “jog log” or how to face a part manually with m03 s500 code and using x axis or y axis to run the face mill using handle jog.

Hi Tim - What kind of keyword are you looking for? Entering in any word, and pressing the “Down Arrow” key will find that word if it exists in the program. - Mark, Haas Tip-of-the-day

does the parentheses search work on pre-NGC controls?

Any one know if o cam change a parameter on a toolroom mill with no tool changer to lower tool change position
Hi, can you please tell me if i can replace the stylus from my Renishaw probing system with another one but with a smaller diameter of the tip? The one that I have now is 6mm in diameter and iI would like to replace it with one with a diameter of 2 mm. It can be done by me or it has to be replaced by an authorised person?

Its a little bit Confused
On the left Side on the Tool Page there are only number and next frame are just the Height and Diameter but i can'tfigure out how to Set the Name. When i make a programm i want to know what Tool is it. Like T20=Renishaw T1=Spotdrill and so on.
Edis - That is a great suggestion, and this is one that is being acted upon. You cannot add a text description of tools to our Tool Offset page today, but this page is being worked on now to add usability, incorporating many suggestions from Haas users.
