Lesson! Never stick your arm out the window in a roll. We used to wear wrist straps to the steering wheel when we raced Honda Odyssey's back in the day. Glad you aren't too injured Matt!
That’s also why there’s a handlebar on the dash on the passenger side. If you are holding onto the bar, you are less likely to stick a hand out the window if you roll.
I loved Honda Odyssey. The wrist strap sounds like a solid idea. Never heard of that until now.
@@NewTrip_NewAdventure I know but I think he's talking about restraining straps. Like a bungee cord or something. I've never seen one before but it would keep your hands from flying outside cab.
Drag racers and formula race drivers use wrist straps as well. Have been for a long time.

Thank goodness the cage didn’t cut Matt’s hand off, has been happening a ton with so many people riding side by sides and forgetting to hold the wheel in a roll over.

Yeah I broke both wrists on a triple in moto. Right broke so bad it was pointing right! Adrenaline was high never thought left was broke. Surgeons assured me it was through xrays. Net windows are a good investment for SxS until you learn to keep hands gripped to wheel.

Get well Matt! Rolled my X3 a little over a month ago and got pretty banged up myself. Luckily it was only the wrist. It can always be worse. Props for stepping up to the plate to run the gauntlet!

Get back at it Matt. That’s why they have a ROLL-cage, always feels a bit sketch after laying it over. There will be a next time if you are pushing the limits, just keep those hands in next time.

Public service announcement. The onboard footage of that rollover is one of the best examples I’ve seen arguing for keeping your window nets up. Classic tried to catch himself following which could have seriously injured him. It’s an instinct thing.

Awesome videos guys. I recently subbed from watching Cletus. Always Love the SxS’s they’re so much fun for everyone. Got a goal to eventually get 1 myself. But gotta be careful, but they’re going to go over eventually. They’re definitely designed a lot better these days. I’m glad Matt’s ok, it’s just instinct to want to put your arm out to catch yourself. Like anything. It’s just a matter of time &getting some practice in. To be able to do things without thinking. Been watching you guys for quite a while. EXCELLENT CHANNEL, LOVE EVERYTHING!!!! One thing I was wondering if you guys could look at is the way these machines launch & land? Like the XX is super nose heavy & the RS1 is about the best during landing. I understand vehicle, weight and size of the operator, with or without a passenger, & acceleration very but could we make them launch & land better.

You can do a frame by frame starting at 26:00 and see Matt puts his arm out. Look like the top of the roll bar is what probably smacked his hand. Might be smart to get an x-ray. Ain't no fun driving a SXS with one hand. Glad it wasn't any worse.

Once rick started to fly off of his jump he had very consistent times. Once Rick gets some more laps in I would love to see a head to head shoot out between him and sous. Glad Matt is going to be ok. Hope Matt’s wrist is okay. If you’ve rode a sxs hard you’ve probably rolled one already. The worst part about it is the hit your ego takes. Takes a few rides to build back up the confidence.

Aye boys new subscriber from ole cleeter really like the videos I do have one tip ya know you don't have to listen to me but I think a little shortening up on the videos would help out a bit just kinda cut out some raw not needed footage like some of the banter yes I agree we all love it but it could help with that sub count and this is purely just a suggestion I love the videos either way boys keep up the good work

Of all the things you guys do, you don't ever mess with the clutches. If the XX doesn't have the low down punch, change the secondary helix and spring. Put in a dual angle helix and a higher finish rate so it backshifts better.
We've done a bunch of clutching on various machines. I agree the XX could use some help there.
I feel like if you put some guys with a few shots of liquid courage in em, you’d either get new best lap times or repair bills. Make the turn around the tree a left would also be fun. Either way y’all are fun to watch. You guys should look into the make a wish stuff. I guarantee there’s people that wanna do the stuff y’all do. You’d put a smile on someone’s face and make money doing it. I’d love it anyways but, if I was terminally ill, I wanna sky a jump with nick for sure. Like silver lake full throttle. Let’s clear 3 busses kind of stuff. Y’all could really put some smiles on people’s faces.

Not sure what to think of the XX. We know the RS1, RZR Turbo S and X3 are bad ass. The turbo YXZ is fast and very cool. Maybe test a new YXZ SS. Would like to see everyone's thoughts on that. And when does a RZR Pro debut on the channel?
