I have played both. I have them both on my PS5. Tell you the truth, as much as I love Mortal Kombat, Tekken 8 is the best one so far.

@@RoyArkonI’ve only played MK since I was little, never tekken. My buddy recently told me about tekken 8 because he started playing it, and when I started playing it I was like nah f*ck tekken and it’s 8 different d-pad variations versus mk’s 4 different d-pad variations. But I must say, once you get passed the learning curve, literally every single thing about this game is better than mk1. You think practice mode is better in mk1 because 2 people can practice right? Well you can practice 2 players using share play on ps5. So there literally is NOTHING better about MK1. Nothing.

MK1 is better than Tekken 8 in every way, from the single player content (both quality, quantity and variety), presentation, story and roster. Oh so you can practice via share play. The First MK Game I Played Was MK Deadly Alliance And the first Tekken game I played was TK 4 on my Ps2

Really? The graphics are better? I don’t see it. And the characters in mk1 clearly have their backstories robbed.
Where is graphics by mk1 better? Even in mk11 graphics better than in mk1.

MK1 is better in EVERY POSSIBLE REGARD. Better roster, better gameplay, PHENOMENAL STORY MODE, better single player content (both in quality, quantity and variety), better presentation (visuals and sound design), better replay value, and best of all, better premise. Mortal Kombat 1 is just better, PERIOD.
