I'm a 38 year old guy. I'm quite happy to say that I've only dated just a handful of people in my life. Didn't bother dating at all until I was about 28. I either dated with the goal of future marriage (even if years away) or not at all. I never dated just to date, didn't focus only on outward attraction and still even the people that at first seemed to be 'perfect' for me weren't quite the right ones personality-wise. Usually it was just a peaceful breakup. Never cheated on the ladies that I've been with, either. Don't ever plan to. Just want to get married, settle down and spend the rest of my life with one lady. Some of the most beautiful ladies have been cheated on by guys that didn't deserve them, even when they were outwardly stunning, had millions and were well-known and had a successful career. Unfortunately, money can't buy faithfulness or love, as so many people have found. It's free. The size of the ring that the guy buys is not an indicator of how much he loves you. It's what he does when he's around you. If the lady cares more about the ring size and show it off to her friends than spending time at home cuddling and watching movies with you...might want to rethink it. The same for any lady who a guy is just interested in because of her body alone. If he just wants to sleep with you and likes you outwardly, but doesn't accept who you are as a person and doesn't see you as more than someone to be around when he's feeling intimate...he's the wrong guy. If he spends more time with his guy buddies out drinking at bars, fishing, playing sports or whatever...he's the wrong guy.
May every one of you find the 'perfect' (no such thing as perfect, of course) guy and lady that you seek in life who will love you and accept you inwardly and outwardly for the rest of your life. Don't have unreasonable expectations, don't focus on outward appearance only (we're all getting older by the day) and love from the heart and not just the flesh only.
