since you can't see if you look in the background you can see streets and houses. this is some kind of transfer/holding facility sort of like a daycare. can't have the baby wonder off and getting in trouble or hurt before being moved .
This is not a human baby. Cuddle it too much as a human and it will never return to the wild. once it’s out of quarantine it will have a chance to be treated like an orangutan child.

I have already conducted my research and I stand by my comments. I owe you NOTHING and all you have to do is ask these poachers questions regarding their credentials and their employer and you will either not receive a response or you will receive evasive, inconsistent and untruthful answers. If you care to press them further you will be met with racist and sexist remarks. That should be your proof but you are too lazy and incompetent to do this research yourself. I, along with my organization, have investigated further into this channel and several others and found these types of channels are all run by the same group of poachers. It's pretty easy to tell but even if you're not familiar with them he wouldn't be given a bottle if he was a juvenile. Had his mother not been killed he'd still be in her arms most hours of every day. And he'd be with her for another 4-5 years as the center of her universe. No males, no other kids until he was on his own. So if he is throwing a tantrum he has every right. From a loving mother in the expanse of the forest treetops to a cage where he's never held or comforted and given half of a small bottle. Not to mention the "keeper" stood back there teasing him in order to make the video. They weren't careful enough to cut that part out.

In these countries, where orangutans live, deforestation kills orangutans, they get burned, it's very sad. Some babies become orphans. In rescue sanctuaries, once an orangutan is brought there, they spend time in quarantine until it is safe to be with the others. Baby screaming is most likely from anxiety, or sees the keeper to whom he became attached to.
So, so SAD! He is a baby in distress. Needs to go to a rehabilitation center with other orangatans.. 😢
