Hope you are doing well. I am total beginner. I want to make photography as an hobby. Pls suggest good starter camera with atleast next 5 years use irukra mari. I cant invest very frequently.
Budget:
1.2 to 1.5L with lens.
Use Case:
Photography is the utmost importance.
Portrait and Kids Photography is the primary.
(Only during travel ) Street and Landscape as secondary.

Is Kit lens enough for a beginner to learn and also is it enough for portrait shots. Or prime lens like 35mm is needed?
Hello paa kit lens are garvage. Dont get tricked by camera deals with kit lenses . But a nice 50mm 1.8 good for portriats and all around learning experience .

Canon r8 is surely more recent amd more features . Both are two diff brands . . Like a7iii has in body stabilization, r8 doesnt have it r8 has 102,400 native iso , a7iii only 51200 shutted speed a7iii max 1/8000 where as r8 1/16000 , continous shooting canon 40fps a7iii only upto 10fps r8 has 4k 60fps and a7iii only 4k 30fps , 1080 p at 120fps in a7iii , r8 180fos so differences are there. Deoends on your budget likimg and what you want. Deicision has to be made by you brother

Bro remember a7iii is 2018 model and has 30 mins record limit. You have to hit record afain when it stops at 30. But its a beast of a camera great for photography and video . Great camera. However a7c is good but not as great as a7iii. You check out both camsras amd decide. If i had extra money bro i qill go a74

Hello Sanal for wddding you cannot beat the 24 to 70 lens as it has got various focal length 24 , 35, 50 , 70 also a prime 85 lens most wedding shooter will have or a 70 -200mm to start off the 24 -70mm is a all around great lens

D810 is amzing camera . Please dont waste money on a7iii if your goal is only photography. I would instead invest some of that money on flash like ad200 pro etc . Which will help you in making money and also an asset . When you sell the 810 this can five value when you bundle sell it

A7iii is a good start if its just photography look for a7r3 or a7r4 . Becasue a7iii is a hybrid camera can do both photo and video . Not a speciality in one area
