Part of the problem is that at least one of the owners (Reading Bear was her old channel) is Asian and not a native speaker. Nothing wrong with that, except more errors slip through.
Using real people costs money. AI is free. Plus the person who runs the channel may be an intorvert with social anxiety and can't record their own voice. The AI glitches aren't really a big deal anyway. Don't like it? Get on redit and read everything yourself. Lol

That fact that in the Family Drama Story, the Uncle and his wife wasn't grieving about the Uncle Mom but there Cat feel off putting, I care for my pets and hate the day they have to go but not grieving when you mom pass, OP grandpa would be heartbroken to know only 1 of her 3 daughter/sons are mourning and missing her.

The AI reading this is horrible. I always wonder why people don't understand that actual human narrators are preferred. My take is that if the narrator wants me to take the time to listen but doesn't care enough to take the time to make the video, I don't need to waste my time. Guaranteed someone else who is willing to take the time to read themself has recorded the same story on a different channel so I don't need to listen to bad AI.
WHAT THE HECK WITH THE WEIRD PRONUNCIATION???? Is this an AI voice? If so, it is painful to listen to. at 1:59 "I'd recut Jackass Phony I'd rigged....etc. Stories are great. Delivery need work. This isn't the only story that has these bizarre pronunciations. They really detract from an otherwise interesting listen.
Yes, it does sound robotic. Poor narration ruins the listening experience.
