I get the EXACT result using a premade half wig… gurl bless you for being able to rock this application… I need my scalp to breathe and snatch it off at the end of the day 🎉
This came out so cute but I have to let you know Jordan did not create this method, this is Ivy's signature flip over method. Ive been doing it for 10+ years and learned form her. just an fyi
Love this video! Definitely have my stylist to do this style. What kind of hair you used and what type of lashes you have on? Everything just beautiful
I’m new to this I noticed when you payed the front the glue touched your hair not just the protective cap so does this cause the front hair to have glue on it when removing the quick weave?
If it does it’s a very little amount and trust me it slips right out with dawn dish detergent or oil. I use dawn and I’m a licensed cosmetologist it does no harm. If you’re worried about harm just deep condition after
Yes ma’am they absolutely can… quickweaves are THAT GIRL! All I wear, so easy and I can do them myself meaning I don’t have to pay anybody for anything!
@kiam.7017 I don't use the protective liquid cap... I braid my hair down place a wig cap over my braids and create my barrier using got2b freeze spray and blow dry it until it's hard which has worked for me for years... Sometimes I'll add a little spritz but that's only because it's tacky and helps the tracks stick faster. As for my take down I use oils. I have a bottle of oil that I mix myself which is just grape seed, avocado and olive oil but I pour the oil down to my root and massage it in and that point my whole quick weave comes out in one piece like a wig... Easy peezy! Good luck 😉
This is a flip over quick weave, so you're not necessarily closing it. The little tracks in the front is what completes the quick weave, then you use your leave out to hide them.
@EboniG88 thanks for responding. Yes, I know it's the flip over method, but I've seen where others close off the last piece of track going horizontally or vertically, and the original creator did it differently to end the placement of the track or it'll not fall properly. I just wanted to know how you placed the last piece of extension at the top.
You definitely slayed Ivy’s method 🔥
Thank you!!

That’s awesome! I love half wigs and Uparts whenever I don’t feel like doing a full quick weave.
I usually do the same but the way my man has been pulling my hair got me out here looking for a more secure look 😂
Look great both ways!

Oh ok thank you!
LMAO! THIS IS NOT IVY'S METHOD EITHER! the girlie's was doing this glue in method in the 90s. She just brought it back to life. People are so funny
@@brittnyy113 well did any of the other 90s ladies bring it to UA-cam for the masses to learn?! 🙃
It came out amazingly
Thank you ❤️

You didn’t cover that last part where the cap was showing? Is that how we get it to still be flat?
What kind of hair did you use for this install
How long does this last? And how do you moisturize your real hair? I love the style btw.
what hair did you use?
So you went all the way across the head when laying the tracks flat across?
Yes sorry I wasn’t too detailed at that part but yes all the way across
In the same direction?
This is who I’ve been waiting to drop a clip over
❤️❤️ thank you! I’m doing a flip over bob next
Does this glue melt in hot weather? Its running over the 100s in Houston now so im scared the tracks will slide out 😓
The glue only comes off with water so you are definitely safe in these Houston streets lol 😂
Lol thanks
@@taylortellsthank you! I’m going to nashville next week and it’s going to be in the 100s
@taylortells
when doing your top of the head you keep laying it on the other side?
Great job if you want your hair to lay towards the right side do you do small tracks to the right?
Yes lay the small tracks to the opposite side and then you flip the hair to the side you want it on
@@taylortellsthankyou❤
@@taylortellsso if I want the tracks on the right lay it on the left? So when I flip it over it’s like a right sided bang?
What kind of bundles are these… lol I went in search of the ponytail video to get details but could not find it
What length hair did u use

This is so cute! I’m new to quick weaves and was wondering if the bundles can be reused after doing a quick weave?
Yes girl it’s the only way for me Lol

@@mz_marmar89was it easy to scratch when your scalp got itchy? It's so hard to scratch when I use the protective bond.
@@kimoni6 I wouldn’t say easy but I wear them so much I had to find a way lol. I just use a rat tail comb and I’m good.
Just got my hair appointment cancelled on me so here I am 😂
Omg 😳 how did it go!?

So it’s doesn’t ruin the tracks when using human hair? People always told me it’s best to use synthetic hair. 🙄
No way you can definitely use human or synthetic and clean the glue off of the tracks
What you did? …….. THAT!!!!
😂 thank you!
