Tomorrow we can get the first pattern for the mystery quilt from FQS. For you young folks: The older tvs had knobs (dials) you turned for channels - most of us only picked up 3 tv channels and 1 of those was PBS. So when they would go to commercial they would say - Don’t touch that dial. Thanks Sheri for another great video!!
I am still buying fabric but I have cut back soooooo much it is unbeliveable! I am 71 and have enough fabric to make quilts until I am 150! (and maybe older!) Oh!!! Great. I love aprons, I have 2 and I would love more and I would love to gift one to my next door neighbor, She is a young mother. late twentys early 30's. We don't really visit, just a hello or a wave. Sounds great to me.I'm in. One for me, one for my Sister and one for Mira.
TVs used to have a knob called a dial used to change the channel. Yes, you had to get up off the couch and walk to the tv to do it! Right before a commercial the tv announcer would say, Don’t touch that dial, so you wouldn’t change the channel to another show during the commercial.
Ohhh, loving the stash-busting ideas! I actually use aprons when I cook and bake. I'm a little untidy during those activities😉 I will check out the Fat Quarter shop mystery quilt. Your fabrics should look great in it!
Love that tree fabric. When organizing my fabric, I realized that green Christmas type trees was my favorite. I’m also doing no-buy Jill. However, now many friends have been giving me their “it’s not speaking to me”fabrics.
I dont clean in an apron but i cook in one! I love cross back aprons and have many and i love lil half aprons. I make all my family and close friends aprons too…ill give a random one to someone! Your fabric choices are always so pretty…love your taste Sheri! Doing no buy July 😂🤣😂! Love so yeah…oh goodness though, they get me over excited with all that fabric
Don't touch that dial... back when rafios had dials to turn the channels. News drams, and music were the main entertainment. Also telephones/landlines had dials too.
Yeah nothing like sew yeah selling camille fabric right out of the box to (almost) mess up my no buy july commitment..lol i stayed strong…stay strong sewists! I sew slow too..i dont like mistakes and have learned over the years to not rush.
Hi Sheri, I’m addicted to Grunge.Just today (Tuesday, 7/2) I received my order of grunge from the Fat Quarter Shop but ordered it before the end of June. Such a good price that I couldn’t turn it down! Have a good week!
I need to do this! Several years ago my late SIL made me an apron from one of her vintage tablecloths that I loved. I have it hanging in my pantry ... just because. But I really need one I will actually wear.
I love this idea for aprons! I went through a phase where I bought a bunch of patterns for aprons, so I will make some from those, but I love the idea of passing them out!
I have been doing no buy for my yarn stash for a couple of years. I keep track of the amount I use and track it by weight. Since i knit for charity, I am able to use my stash and not buy more. My fabric is purchased only when I need something for a project-because our quilt group has boxes of donated fabric that I can pull from. I sew for charity primarily.
I love the winter quilt colors. I don't decorate for holidays but the seasonal quilts are a great idea. "Don't touch that dial" was something I heard a lot as a kid. Was it a specific radio or TV show that said it? I can't remember. I want to say a game show.
You were talking about a panel quilt and I was wondering if you have done an attic window with a panel?! I love aprons and always wear one while I’m in the kitchen but honestly, never thought about wearing one to clean house?! I don’t know why I never thought about it! It is such a great idea!💡 Thank you for sharing!😊
I need your suggestion I bought a small Sun Beam iron, well it leaked badly, I need a replacement my shoulder can’t handle the weight of my oliso do you suggest. Does oliso make a small model? Thanks in advance.
They make a craft iron that would be perfect for you! It’s the M3PRO project iron. Glad to know I'm not the only one who made a fabric purchase on the 30th....this month will be torture. Stay strong, ladies !
I’m deleting my emails! 😅
Your fabric choices for the blue and gray winter wall hanging will look really pretty. Love that fabric.
Thank you! 😊

So far I am in on No Buy July-we will see how tomorrow goes 😇
You can do it!
Great and kind idea to randomly give apron to someone. Fabric choices for winter quilt are gorgeous!
Almost midnight, I was surprised to see you. But it is late. I will watch the full episode on Tuesday morning
The fabrics will look great together in the winter quilt.
Dials were knobs that were on our tvs to change the channel and adjust the picture.
Yep!
How about an artist apron? A teacher apron? Quilters apron? Pet grooming? Lots of possibilities 🎉
Excellent ideas!
Those aprons would be great Gifts.
❤still Monday lol

I don’t know, there’s something about cleaning in an apron that keeps me on task 🤣
Sheri, so much planned for July….not sure I can keep. Lol
Just do it at your own pace 😉
I love the Quilter's World magazine. Once I have all four that I need for the Prairie Star by Scott Flanagan, I want to make it for me 😊
I saw that in there - one more issue and you’ll have it!

It was the best price around
Happy no buy July everyone!❤
You could put a pocket on the other side and make the apron reversible.
I had that thought too 🤔
I need to do this! Several years ago my late SIL made me an apron from one of her vintage tablecloths that I loved. I have it hanging in my pantry ... just because. But I really need one I will actually wear.
You should!

I got some grunge too. I’m set for awhile with projects and fun
It was a great price!
I also ordered sale fabric from Missouri Star on June 30. Love your videos, so many ideas!
Have fun!

Great rules to live by!
Don't touch that dial could be changing a TV program, or a radio program.
Yep!
Don't change the channel! ❤
Yep!
I'm doing no buy July! I've got plenty to choose from!
Awesome!

I really don’t remember, but I feel like it was a specific show 🤔

I have not done an attic window. I haven’t seen one I liked yet. I’m sure I will someday!
