Gospelspeak #98: Zion's Latter-Day Destiny

In the writings of the Old Testament, the scripture clearly states: "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance." (Psalm 33:12). The Prophet Isaiah provides greater detail regarding the relationship between Jehovah and his covenant house. In modern day revelation, contained in the Doctrine and Covenants, we have further clarification of the relationship between the leading tribes of Israel - Judah and Ephraim. We also see the destiny of Zion established both in the old and the near worlds.
