Great video. Just purchased a 2021 QX50 Luxe. Love the car. Really surprised on the mpg achieved on a 95 mile trip - 35.4mpg. Inside cabin really quiet - do not hear outside noise. The luxury ride is great.
I'd say for the most part you hear the drone when pushing down hard on the pedal regardless of mode. Id recommend test driving to see for yourself. Always hard to show through a camera
I have one of these in my driveway now/ for my partner. Drive it earlier and puked when I found out it was a CVT- seats are uncomfortable and she doesn’t like it now and says it’s not luxurious. We regret it. Looks good is about all.
Exactly! I’m on my 3rd CX-5 and for the money I love it. Made in Japan- feels solid. I always have a new Infiniti just like this- we are already regretting it.
Just traded my 2019 QX50 for a 2024 QX50S, looking forward to driving it.

Just totaled my 2019 looking to snag a 2023 sport.
Is the CVT "droning" sound made only when the vehicle is in Sport mode or does it do that in the Normal/Comfort mode also?

I like the exterior of this year model, but thats it. The wheels , and esp the interior! Still the same from when I leased my mother one for 2019.

I'm a Nissan guy and a sedan guy. I'd consider this if it had a V6. Just don't like these small turbo engines. Just don't sound good.

Yeah the base was always an issue for me. The sound is good but not very powereful
