If not, can you or anyone suggest how I can view and edit my old word documents.

Hi, my old computer crashed. The store i took it to was able to save my documents that i created for my craft business but I lost all of my downloaded fonts. They installed ms word 2019. Now all of my documents have been altered to the default font in word. I have some of my older docs. on a flash drive. They were created on the older version of word. Is there anyway to see what font was used for documents on thumbdrive or do I have to basically redo every single document I previously created? I'm devastated as this involved many, hundreds of hours of work. Also struggling with new view screen as I work on documents.
I have been using MS word for something like 20 years. I created a Memo, removed the toolbar and changed the view. THis is the first time I have had to seek help to revert such a simple procedure. What a messy program.
