What would the founding fathers think of American Africans today and all that’s gone on surrounding them since the time of slavery?

Independence hall is NOT the birthplace of America!!! The Massachusetts Bay colony declared their independence from England well over 100 years before 1776! Both my families were in Americas founding generation in the 1630s. That generation founded America!!! AND btw, there was an soverign American government from 1775 to 1789 including12 or 13 forgotten Presidents !!!
So the United States did not begin in 1789!!! Lets get the historical record straight!!! Good grief, Charlie Brown!!!

They are using the ratification of the constitution as the starting point.

Before the War for Independence, there were 13 colonies, not 13 states. The reason for this is because they were colonies of England and still connected to England. If the colonies or even one of the colonies were sovereign, why would they have to declare independence? (Hint: they wouldn’t) but if you do want an interesting fact, Rhode Island actually declared their independence from England in May of 1776. A few months before the rest of the colonies.
