I body surfed a lot in my teens. Angled down a few waves where it was possible. Most of the time it was just straight ahead, but the quality of the waves were nothing like the wedge. Fun times.
Who is the outstanding rider at 2:22. The speed he gets reading the wave just right is impressive. I suspect he’s completely humble his ability. We all know the type. He would never honk his own horn to bring attention to himself. I wonder if he’s still around.

Here's one for you. I was sitting in the pit when a girlfriend on one of the Crew joined me. She complained that a boulder was too high and blocking her view. I walked over to the boulder and yelled and shook it violently. It broke in half and I sat down as though nothing had happened. You should have seen the look on her face.@@WEDGEMELZ
I miss The Point, The Wedge, Aliso, Blacks Beach, Boomers, and Mexico. I stopped riding Mexico because of the raw sewage. There are two secret spots in Orange County: Three Arch Bay, and North side of Dana point jetty but only on a big swell.

Yes, I have never seen a 360, only rolling over. You have to be on a fast barrel to pull it off.
