The energy recharge amulets are pretty useful in any burst-oriented team, and the electro application from the burst is also pretty good. Each Traveller kit is designed to replicate the archon or equivalent being of that element's region. Windblade creates a smaller version of Venti's burst, the meteor is, well, the meteor, Bellowing Thunder is a co-ordinated attack just like Raiden's skill, the Dendro kit is focused on application for reactions, and the Hydro kit creates water orbs for Neuvilette's CA.
They need to rework electro and hydro 🔥 i swear if they make pyro a joke like they did with hydro. In star rail caelus is more useful than poor aether in genshin

His Geo Burst has multiple uses: Zhonglis pillar wave, blocking dashes from mobs, Buffing your main DPS crit rate, doing damage (My Geo MC bust is doing around 100k usually). The rock also does good damage but it will more likely just block your own path, while also being a good battery. And you can do a lot of glitches with it. In Abyss I constantly switch between geo and dendro Trav because one is useful for Hyperbloom, one is good for my Navia support.
Geo Mc is good, you are incorrect, His burst can give you 10% more crit rate and will deal a lot of dmg in 3-4 sec if you build him properly, Elemental Skill is also good, can do 100k easily, and with zhongli resonance its kinda op.
Hello dedicated trav user giving new things. Anemo trav: I agree for the most part. Geo trav: fully disagree i'll get back to that. Electro trav: They are support + sub dps. Dendro Trav: Support + enabler. Hydro MC: Out-done by neuvillette but aside from him the dmg isnt actually half bad and is easily the smoothest traveller gameplay-wise as long you get used to when ur meant to use the held vs tap version of the E. I could talk for a while about hydro and geo MC but i'll stick to geo MC since they're the strongest in terms of DPS and is considered the second worst by the community after the hydro MC. Geo MC's E is very powerful and serves multiple uses. Its a good damage dealing ability easily able to hit 50k with just a few buffs (just kachina using the new set lets me hit those numbers), its able to block attacks and serve as a way to trap enemies or even control the whole flow of the battle by cutting off enemies on highground or making it harder for enemies to move in general, it also gives good amount of particles. The Burst is simple on its own. It does alot of damage and alot of stagger and makes a few silly walls that also give crit rate buff. ADVANCED TIPS: Using the burst you're E's strengths truly shine, you can use the walls to detonate the E instantly when holding it down causing high burst damage without getting in your way. It can also be used to create a full circle using your E which has niche uses such as making a death blender of GEO, you can also cycle your E usage by placing them down and detonating them using the walls to effectively have better DPS using the E. My Geo MC personally hits around 20~25k per hit with ult and 50k+ with E, I mainly use them to set up an area I have alot of control over (makes fighting enemies with AOE attacks a joke due to their hitbox being messed up and either jumping above me or being covered by a rock or two or they just jump on an E and explode themselves). Using the E's I place down I use the downtime to plunge spam ensuring whatever enemy is standing up straight will be flung in the air or staggered. This team deals moderate overall damage when considering true DPS comps but makes up for it by controlling the arena. (Its particularly good vs humanoid bosses like arlecchino who will run at you and hurt themselves in the process of destroying the E and do 0 damage to you). Last but not least the lack of a 5 star burst animation for the MC actually is a tactical advantage and allows you to pick up more information. Bonus: Hydro MC is best against bosses with different phases due to how their E and burst works.
Make them an off-field one with similar element app to Xingqiu so that melt works even better and the Traveler won't be compared with high pick pyro DPS.
Electro is a pretty good battery support. I been using him with my Noelle and she doesn't even need to invest any ER and can instantly get a full burst before her previous burst end.
that animation is a foreshadowing in 5.3 later, i can't wait for the cutscenes!!! traveler and the pyro archon battling the abyss at their home turf ( well it's not their home turf because the night kingdom is the wayob's domain, but technically it is because the abyss has dominion over it for now)
I hope once we get all 7 elements, they introduce a new feature like limit break where we get new skill/burst for our traveler or improve current ones. Then, this would implement to old units making them relevant again

Lmao why would they change a free character to be actually good and powerful? Think about this, you can only put 4 char in your game and if Aether/Lumine is too good and can actually be viable for every team then you would only need 3 more characters to finish setting up your team There are 7 elements in game so if traveler is too good in all elements it would actually make their income reduced because people dont need to roll as many character to complete their team comp. Traveler in game is just good enough to move you from one place to another and doing exploration related tasks.
Don't worry, he'll be garbage like all of his versions lol, and btw, in the pyro department the bar is already set very high with the likes of Arlecchino, Xiangling, Bennett and the upcoming Mavuika who is probably going to be incredibly good and versatile.
Pyro MC is being built up too much even from a lore perspective to be bad and even from a non-lore perspective. Pyro MC has special talent level up materials and there's also the weird pyro legendary stone that seems related to the MC and also the ancient name, also with the shift in directors its likely the pyro MC will be at the very least as strong as some base line pyro dps like non-plunge diluc or abit weaker. Also unless they literally copy hydro MC kit onto pyro MC its gonna be hard to mess up especially with pyro resonance and the burning set giving a flat dmg boost and the fact that MC will likely have night soul blessing system so they also will get a free 40% crit rate + 15% dmg bonus + benefit more from natlan supports. I'd personally be more worried about cryo MC since they're likely gonna allow for Omni element or light element MC soon after so cryo might be mid.

Yep. I likes the traveler but his dmg are suck. I cant still imagine why he even inthe game. As a main character is yes. But not a op playable characters. he really need new power up, attack animation and switch element options

Think about this, you can only put 4 char in your game and if Aether/Lumine is too good and can actually be viable for every team then you would only need 3 more characters to finish setting up your team
There are 7 elements in game so if traveler is too good in all elements it would actually make their income reduced because people dont need to roll as many character to complete their team comp.
Traveler in game is just good enough to move you from one place to another and doing exploration related tasks.

I hate how mihoyo treats the traveler both in the story and in the gameplay.

Don't worry, he'll be garbage like all of his versions lol, and btw, in the pyro department the bar is already set very high with the likes of Arlecchino, Xiangling, Bennett and the upcoming Mavuika who is probably going to be incredibly good and versatile.

Pyro MC is being built up too much even from a lore perspective to be bad and even from a non-lore perspective.
Pyro MC has special talent level up materials and there's also the weird pyro legendary stone that seems related to the MC and also the ancient name, also with the shift in directors its likely the pyro MC will be at the very least as strong as some base line pyro dps like non-plunge diluc or abit weaker.
Also unless they literally copy hydro MC kit onto pyro MC its gonna be hard to mess up especially with pyro resonance and the burning set giving a flat dmg boost and the fact that MC will likely have night soul blessing system so they also will get a free 40% crit rate + 15% dmg bonus + benefit more from natlan supports.
I'd personally be more worried about cryo MC since they're likely gonna allow for Omni element or light element MC soon after so cryo might be mid.
