Happy to see an update from you. Please ask Blair to do one, too, would really like to know how she is doing. I get it must be nerve-wracking to film when you haven't in a while but fans don't care, we're just happy to see you both on our feed. :)
She just did
@@bbhaspots8975 I know! :)
I watched it today.
Hearing Pinecone’s “not so subtle” meow (as only HE can do) definitely took me back in time…❤ 🐾 🐱
Happy Birthday!🎉And I’m so glad you’re feeling better!💃🏻
I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis when I was 7 years old - I'm now 43. You got this! Sending lots of love and health!!
When you said 15 years on UA-cam my jaw dropped! Been watching since ‘08!! So glad you’re sharing your life with us and that you’re doing better! 💕
I’m in tears right now. We are the same age and I grew up with you since your very first video upload. I was also just diagnosed with RA and I will never be able to put into words how much this video was needed. Elle thank you so much for uploading this.
Elle! I saw you followed me on IG a few months ago and I was hoping it was you starting to experiment with your curls 🥰 That’s so great you found a conditioner that works for you. Unfortunately when transitioning back to your natural curls, it can take many months even years. It took me 3 years to gradually grow out my bleach damage and once I did, my curls changed so much. When you go back and forth between curly and straight in the beginning, it’s tough to see your curls full potential. Sending the good curly vibes your way and excited to see you back! ❤
I’m 29 and I’ve had rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia since I was 22.. it’s nice to see a young person with a following talk about this and bring awareness to it..
What are the symptoms you had with not knowing what you had
ughhh! the happiness i get when i see a new video from you. I don’t know but you & Blair’s videos just provide me with so much comfort
Happy birthday, Elle! I’ve been watching for 15 years! I met you 9 years ago today at Generation Beauty in Los Angeles in 2014. Lots of love!
I remember discovering youtube and beauty gurus when I was 18 with a broken leg missing my first semester of college. To this day UA-camrs like you and Alison Anderson who started in beauty and evolved with your lives are still some of my absolute favorites. I honestly think you could talk about anything and I would watch as soon as I see the video go live, because it genuinely just feels like being around an old friend. Thank you for being exactly who you are unabashedly!
Elle!! I’ve been a silent follower for 15 years apparently but I just have to tell you how good it is to see you again! I never really watch UA-cam anymore but I’ve been signing in occasionally just to see if you’ve posted. Glad you’re feeling better and can’t wait for future videos!
Is pinecone still with you?
I’ve been thinking of you a lot recently! So glad to know you are back ❤️🙏🏼
aww thank you!
You’re not alone!! I have psoriasis which turned into psoriatic arthritis. Also developed hashimotos after a miscarriage. I’m now 8 weeks postpartum and having major flares 😅 I’m glad you’re getting answers Elle I’m sorry you’re going through this!
Oh and I’m 35!! 🥰
Hover's name story time!
I second that I been waiting for that video
Who is hover?? I feel like I’ve missed a chapter
@Elizabeth Roper , Hover is baby number 2. James kept calling him "Baby Brother Baby Hover," and he just became Hover or Baby Hover.
@Elizabeth Roper Hover is her second baby's nickname. His name is Scott but James kept calling him Hover and it caught on
Yay! Been wondering how you are!!;
Can’t wait to see the hair with the new conditioner! Also, there’s stylists who specialize in curly hair/curly girl. Maybe they can help you really hone down your texture for you😊
Is Blair still alive? Is she getting back to UA-cam?
Happy Birthday!!! Thank you for sharing so much of your life with us all. Loved the updates.
It’s so nice to have you post this video! I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 28 and have been on medication for 3 years. I’ve had to come off my past medication (methotrexate) which worked really well for me to prepare for IVF so I’m back on the nightmare medication journey trying to find something that works. RA can feel isolating sometimes and tricky feeling like you can’t ‘keep up’ with some others so it’s so nice to hear you’ve been doing so well! ❤
I’m so happy you’re doing so much better! I was diagnosed with arthritis at 15 so it truly can happen at any age!
It's crazy how young some people get it - that stinks! I hope you are managing well with it!
What studies you should get to diagnose that?
@@cin4160 I think it depends on the cause. I would talk to your doctor.
@@cin4160 it depends. Arthritis can be a physical sign your immune system isn’t going right on the inside. My doctors always check my sedrate, inflammatory markers, red and white blood cells counts. Auto immune diseases can affect many organs, so a dr would definitely know what blood tests or other tests to examine.
Try a keratin treatment for your hair. Changed my life!!! You can air dry your hair and do nothing and it looks good.
Give Crown Affair a try!! Their tools and products have transformed my relationship with my hair. They also have a viral air-dry method - I don’t do that personally as my hair is super long and I have my own routine, but I know many people swear by it! I think you might enjoy their aesthetics, too. :)
My sister has RA and swears by bone broth for flare ups! She did the GAPS protocol (maybe even a bit more strict, because she was also figuring out alergies) and hasn't had to go on medication. Just some information to store in the back of your head if you're ever desperate and medication stops helping ❤
so glad to hear that you're okay, elle! looking forward to more videos!
Don’t know how your doing now, but my daughter has juvenile arthritis and we were able to combat it with diet and supplements and seeing a naturopath. I am so glad I did not continue with medication on her little body.
Dear Elle please please try Living Proof products to wash condition and style. I have my crazy frizzy dry puffy unmanageable curly hair like you mentioned yours and it is impossible to do anything with my hair and it changes the whole hair game. Try living proof and please let me know how you like it♥️🙏🏻
I have both psoriatic arthritis and gouty arthritis. I am on 2 meds and avoid sugar and gluten (i have celiac). It sucks to get a diagnosis, but once you figure out what helps, you will do great. I have several friends with RA and they all manage. Accept help when you need it, rest, eat healthy, and know you have so many people supporting you! ❤❤
Interesting that you went low gluten, low dairy and low sugar and you discovered that was not the cause of the issue...I have met people that swear that diet has cured autoimmune problems but as you mention everyone is different...I am going to try your Salad Kit recipe which also appears to be gluten free.
RA here, too, and I can only say, "be careful with MTX". I developed skin cancer under the treatment within a year and my dermatologist told me, it's an open secret, that MTX can cause it, they had a few patients like me.
I dont understand why they dont post regularly anymore.
Blair is back! She's getting married this year!
Elle must be getting behind in her bills lol
Can we have an update of the kitties please?!
Elle, I am praying for your health and recovery. You have such a wonderful spirit and watching your videos as a young teen always helped get me through difficult times. Sending good thoughts and prayers your way.
Thanks so much for the update❤❤
Hows Blair and Jelly been doing?
Tell Blair to do an update video im sure everyone is interested.
This past September I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called undifferentiated connective tissue disease (UCTD). That means we have symptoms and lab test results which suggest a systemic autoimmune disorder or connective tissue disease like lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, myositis, scleroderma, or Sjogren’s syndrome but not extensive or specific enough to meet usual criteria for a diagnosis. In my case I lean more towards rheumatoid arthritis with a little lupus and I’m only 33 so I get feeling old when you hear that. But I am so thankful that you use your platform to talk about your own autoimmune issues so that those of us who are dealing with the same thing know we aren’t alone and we can share experiences and get through this together ❤
How's Blair? Did she graduate college?
Yes, she graduated and now works for an architect in Nashville!
Always come back to watch your updated! Been a Stan since 2011! Glad to hear you’re doing well! Xoxo
❤ I was just checking your feed a few weeks ago. Glad to hear you’re doing well 🫂
Pinecone wants some fancy feast lol 🐱🐱💟💟
Beautiful like always. 🦋
So happy to see you again! Hope the medication keeps working well for you 😊💕
Happy birthday, Elle 😁🎉 I'm so glad you're feeling better!
Time sure speeds up after 20, doesn't it? It seems like only yesterday I was watching your Glitteratures and fangirling over Twilight 😅
How old is Pinecone now? Nice to see a video from you!
Elle I totally feel you on the hair journey. My hair is naturally very curly and as a kid people used to stop my mum in the store and asked if I was the little actress who played Annie in the movies lol. I think I might be holding some bad energy related to that because I just totally chemically straighten my hair now and that's my version of loving my hair lol 😅
😃😃🥰🥰
Omg is this you!
It's the 1st here already so happy birthday!! ❤️ Loved this update, you're so bubbly and fully of life its so nice to see you like this after all you went through TTC
Happy birthday!! I’m so glad to hear you’re doing better…I’ve been watching for 15 years and it’s always so nice to see when you upload! ❤
I have irritable bowel syndrome that was ruining my life until I got another colonoscopy and endoscopy done found inflammation due to (we think) OTC pain meds. I used to be really embarrassed because it’s issues with the way I poop but I’m not embarrassed anymore and I’m so open about it now (like with my work which all my coworkers know lol) and now I am healing and doing a lot better , but not 100 percent yet. So glad you are feeling better !
I had IBS then my gallbladder removed Doctors put me on Welchol it is a powder ask your doctor, it is miraculous !
Nice to see you! Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better ❤
My RA started flaring up when I was 4 and I wasn’t officially diagnosed and medicated until I was 18. So happy you were able to get diagnosed and start testing medicines relatively quickly! Thank you for being open about this - I definitely get ‘feeling old’ when you tell people what you have. The stigma is real - exactly why I wasn’t diagnosed for 14 years every doctor would say you’re too young for that it must be something else.
Happy Birthday Elle!! It was so good to see you in my subscription box!! I worked with kids with JA for a long time so it definitely is a misconception our society has put on arthritis that it is just for old people! I also have had so much trouble my whole life with curly hair so I am excited to try that! Sending you lots of love!!!
so glad to see you tonight!
thank you!!! :)
Have you considered working with a dietician for your health needs? Mine has helped me so very much to understand how food influences my conditions...not just with dairy/gluten/sugar, but all foods. It's been so wonderful to learn and see how adjusting my diet helps me!
Happy Birthday! I’ve been watching you for 12 years, and it is definitely crazy how the time has flown 😅 Glad you’re feeling better ❤❤❤
I was diagnosed last year with Ankylosing Spondylitis. I take Humira injections every other week. I’m 34.
Do you have Fibromyalgia?
I have an autoimmune condition as well, and I’m on an injection every month to suppress my immune system (called Simopni). These medication’s don’t necessarily take the pain away but they are more so to help slow down the damage that the auto immune condition causes, unfortunately the pain that you’re going through is gonna be a lifelong situation and you have to find ways to help relieve it. I’ve had my auto immune for 10 years (since 23) and every day is a struggle. every day is pain. you just gotta find things that you enjoy doing. Maybe go swimming because that helps a lot it’s the best exercise you can get with an autoimmune condition (also spend time in the sauna),
I have ankylosing spondylitis (this condition causes different things like Crohn’s disease symptoms, swollen eyes at times, causes joints to fuse together, sever arthritis etc..)
Happy Birthday Elle. I wish everyone a happiest of birthday's and also I believe that no matter what age we turn in 2024 that everyone should celebrate it in any way that they want to and have it with friends and family.
I know it’s such an intimate topic, what type of arthritis do you have? I’ve had rheumatoid arthritis since I was 6 months old (I’m 30 now lol). Girllll the meds and waiting to work/not work anxiety is real. I just started a new one and I was terrified it wouldn’t work well. I tapering off one I was on for 15 years because I was having serious side affects.
Hi Elle,
I’ve been watching you since the beginning (I almost died when you said it was 15 years!!!) and have loved following your adventures.
I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis when I was 2 years old. I’m now 26 years old. Please don’t be embarrassed by a diagnosis! A diagnosis is just a word that opens doors for treatments and ways to make your life better. I’m so glad you’ve found a treatment that is working for you now and are feeling more normal again!
I love that you are talking about your health with such positivity and perspective. It’s so refreshing and heartwarming to know you’re feeling better than you were a few years ago!!
Lots of love all the way from Australia xxx ❤️❤️❤️
I was just thinking about you a week ago and how I've missed your videos, then this video popped up a couple days later and ngl, it made my day. You're probably the only og youtuber I still watch regularly and probably the only youtuber whose rambling/life update video I watch, i just really love your vibe and the way you tell stories. Anyway, I hope your auto-immune gets better and better everyday. Love from Indonesia 💕 Oh, and happy belated birthday!!
Happy birthday!! I'm 37 this year, it goes so quickly
It sounds like we have similar hair textures! I ration the amount of heat I use though because I’m gradually losing hair (I think!) and worry that the heat is causing hair loss. Will give the conditioner a try if I can get it in Australia:)
Happy Birthday 🎉
I have rheumatoid arthritis! I have been on many medications to try and manage it. Its been really hard. If you havent already, you should try tumeric pills! It helps IMMENSLEY!
I’m a year late but I love watching your videos, I’ve been wanting you since you started but life with kids kinda take my time now. Don’t feel old because I’m 35 as well lol
Happy birthday, my 40th birthday is June1st (today). I didn't have a good birthday though because I didn't feel good & had to cancel plans that I was excited for. I haven't felt good for awhile & trying to figure out what is wrong & I know it is gonna be a whole process to feel better.
Elle, long time no see, missed you 🥰 Girl, have you looked up on the ASIA syndrome as it’s an autoimmune desease due to breast implants? 😢 I also have breast implants and I’m always concerned and aware of ANY unexpected symptoms
I’ve had an autoimmune since my daughter was born like two months after it started she’s 17 now and I didn’t find out until she was 10 but all I remember was not being able to hold her. She couldn’t hug me everything hurt and they still don’t know what I have. They called it fibromyalgia, and then they said my ANA‘s were high I got some kind of autoimmune disease, but they don’t know what all the blood tests always come out normal, so I gave up.
I was diagnosed with Juvenile RA when I was a tiny baby. It’s definitely not an old person’s disease. I’m now 64. I had to have two knee replacements because of it, but otherwise I hang.
Glad you're doing well 😊
So excited to see this video!!! Yah!!! Miss you!!! ❤ Happy belated Birthday!!! Can't wait to try the conditioner and thank you for sharing!!
I miss your videos and wanted to say that I hope you, your family, and the precious kitties are all doing well these days!! 💕
I have had arthritis for 25 years... I'm 27 lol. So I got diagnosed when I was 2,5 yo. But it is hard fot a young person. Everyone else around you are old and given up on everything already. You still have your life ahead of u.
Are you on cimzia? That’s the one I’m on and it’s breastfeeding and pregnancy safe.
15 years is wild! I remember you were the first UA-cam I subscribed to after I saw your twilight inspired makeup looks 😂 great times 🤍
Hi Elle Fowler. You look gorgeous. U and Blair Fowler are beautiful. Great 2 see your videos
If you figure out your hair routine, would you consider posting a hair wash routine? I have dry curly hair and am still trying to figure out how to take care of my hair, and would love to hear your process and see if it could work for me. Thank you in advance, love you so much!
I know this is gonna sound a little crazy. But I really do believe sometimes the right message comes to you. I have struggled with my daughters hair since she was like a baby. It’s not straight but it’s not curly to me. However it does wave if we don’t brush it. But I brush it out straight and it gets knots right away. I just started thinking maybe I needed to try the curly hair method because maybe the reason I’m struggling with her hair is I’m trying to do it like mine when that’s not her hair type
Woah.. I have not checked out this channel in years! Did your deaf cat Pinecone pass away?
This is very interesting and eye opening because I’ve been struggling with a very painful wrist, knee and foot starting postpartum and I kept blaming my weight and lack of diet at the time (I have pcos and I need to be on low sugar/carb diet anyway)for it but I think I should talk to a doctor about it… thanks for the awareness! Wish you lots of health!
I feel like unless you 100% cut out those foods for 12 weeks at least, you won’t know if you’re truly being flared by them or not. If you consume even a little bit of it, it will continue to flare you if you are infact reacting to it.
This girl (Woman), never ages. How is that possible. LOL.
I have psoriatic arthritis along with a few other autoimmune diseases. I totally understand how you feel about feeling old.
so excited to see a new video from you, elle! happy (late) birthday!
Happy Birthday, Elle! Always love your videos. Glad you are doing better.
Want to see a picture of your natural hair!! I started embracing my wavy hair a couple years ago and love hearing about other people doing the same 😊
I was in Nashville last week and I legit felt like should visit my old friend Elle.... ❤ so nice to have followed you for so many years
I have the same. It all came to a head in 2021 and it’s been hell.
And I turn 37 tomorrow! Can’t believe it
Luv you Elle! I have missed you!
I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. You aren’t alone!
I knew the conditioner you were talking about was LUS it has great reviews and you can totally use an diffuser attachment on your blow dryer to dry your curls. Definitely a game changer for most curly types. Loved the update!!! Glad your feeling and looking good 😊
Happy Birthday 🥳
See it again now. 😅 Can't wait to see a new video from you. Hope you and your family are doing well! ❤
Love seeing your face, as always! Happy you’re doing well!
Happy Birthday! 🎉🎉🎉 I was diagnosed with JRA as a kid, and it developed into RA before I was 20. I'll be 40 this year! 😳 I definitely felt "old" and embarrassed having arthritis so young, but I got over it...eventually. 😅 I'm glad you found a medicine that works for you and that you're feeling so much better! It's crazy how much arthritis, especially the inflammatory and rheumatoid varieties, affects your body as a whole!
So good to see you back and happy! ❤ I hope you had a wonderful birthday and I am looking forward for your next video. P.S. I use the same brush 😊
My doctor just referred me to a rheumatologist, so I feel you! I’m 36 and it stinks not having any idea what’s wrong. I can’t get in until November, so it’s just all around frustrating. Any advice would be helpful!
Aahhh!! So glad to see you! I missed you!!!
