I'm just going to say that I really enjoy reading manga that are written off the cuff, and the writer just kind of makes it up as they go along. That said jujutsu kaisen is such a fantastic breath of fresh air because it feels like it was meticulously planned from beginning to end
@@damiondunn4663 I mean yeah, look at the call backs of Sukuna saying "Didn't I say we'll see something interesting" or Itadori calling back to the Junpei fight with "These guys will always be curses" just two examples
Wow the way all the early S1 fights have threads tied to Ch. 265 is rather incredible. And the way NoOp said that Yuji's rage towards Mahito was almost handed down from his future self was extremely poetic
I never thought about how the cog mentality is the reason Sukuna is able to harm Yuji's body without consequence, but it makes total sense and it proves that there were elements of this story that Gege had charted out from the start
Sorry did I miss something i thought the reason was yuji was able to seal/eat the finger was because he was his nephew not that he was born as a finger?
yuji’s father was sukunas twin brother reincarnated, kenjaku had also put a finger in yuji while he was in the womb, that in turn caused yuji to be a “vessel” and not a host like megumi is.
Yujis Father wasnt Sukuna. So unless his father had Shrine idk if it wouldve gone to him. It depends on if shrine was a technique created by Sukuna or if it was inherited.
what i don’t get is she was alive why didn’t yuta just copy her ct and do that sooner? It just doesn’t make sense and it makes other decisions feel less meaningful.
it could have also been planned that if she woke up theyd save it for later in the fight, because if she started too early and bothered sukuna too much he might have found some way to defend against it or go and kill her. but in yuji's domain there was no way he could go anywhere, and he was too preoccupied dealing with awakened yuji
Yuta needs to have Rika eat a part of someone and not have the sorcerer heal it in order to continue using it. Nobara was in a coma, eating her corpse was most likely a no and this is head cannon, but eating a part from her and not healing it in her comatose state isn't gonna be the smartest move if they wanted her to come back
It's Yuji vs Mahito at #1 was the last time the series was actually peak and the last time Gege had good philosophy it's been a mess ever since. Planned from the beginning sure I bet when he wrote Todo and Nobara out of the story he totally planned to eventually randomly bring them back to surprise Yuji and Sukuna and I totally bet he planned that somehow despite sukuna no longer being in his body Yuji is still resonating so despite how much of mess my 60 chapter plan is I can just keep doing flashbacks where this happened off screen behind yujis back so I can do cheap surprises that go nowhere and retcon series info when the narrative needs it I can't wait for everyone to move on from jjk clearly Gege did after Shibuya
The fact Nobara just happened to wake up during the fight is absurd, not the day before, not after, RIGHT on time for the one moment she's needed. Also her having a return with such little time left doesn't help, Todo had room to breathe when he did. But Todo... Todo being around this entire time makes the already incredibly stupid plan for the sukuna raid ten times as stupid, just what were these characters thinking why is everyone so stupid 😭 The whole fight just has so much wrong with it and it can't be salvaged, the timeskip over the month of training was the worst decision possible
@chineseobama6043 couldnt agree more, I thought it was hilarious when Kashimo says obviously everyone should just jump him once Gojo is down because making a plan is pointless, they proceed to literally try and feed the entire cast through a meat grinder. Everyone has been saying skipping that month was where the series truly started to feel rushed but I've had problems since the beginning of the culling games specifically Hakari being so hyped up only to get completely written out it's a display of my biggest problems with the direction of the series
@@devinkonquer3334 they literally sent in their win condition, Higuruma (RIP my GOAT), with inadequate support. The fight would be over INSTANTLY if Higuruma and Todo were on the field at the same time, re-boogie woogie with the executioners sword is inescapable, not to mention there are three characters who can distract/hold down Sukuna with a cursed technique and plenty others on the field who can apply pressure on Sukuna, so realistically he can't even focus on Todo and Higuruma. Yuji, Kusakabe, Maki, Choso, Ino and Miguel can keep him busy, Yuta arrives back with Ui Ui and has a plethora of abilities to use but cursed speech is especially useful here, Larues technique we saw distract Sukuna long enough for Yuji to recover and land his black flash. You can throw in Inumakis voice recorder here but it's not that useful. With Sukuna so busy, Higuruma could easily drop in, pop his domain and give Sukuna the death sentence, domain closes and Todo can come in, fifty swaps in one second and Sukunas dead. I am missing the fact that Deadly Sentencing got rid of Sukunas cursed tool, so to do away with that early in the fight, just don't send Todo to assist Yuta with Kenjaku because Yuta should undoubtedly have that handled, him getting boogie woogied right behind Kenjaku was just for safety I guess but I think with how tired he was, Yuta should be fine. Anyways since Todo is at Shinjuku, just have him swap sukunas cursed tool. Or hell scrap that, you can still have Higuruma go in at the start to get rid of the tool and bring in the executioners sword and as long as we have Todo on the field its a guaranteed win.
Yeah the entire Sukuna cycle was pure contrived writing. Makes no sense for every character to not jump Sukuna. He clearly cant handle them all at once when weakened but sending in only 2-3 at a time is just dumb.

Finally someone who doesnt hate the grasshopper fight for no fucking reason.
WHY? it's so funny why do people hate it 😭 jjk fans just hate everything about jjk i guess

I think I missed something too. I just thought Yuji was Sukuna's nephew...that might be what he meant, but I might have been missing something.
