    Use to be one of the biggest PVP trolls in the game years ago. Watching this makes me rem why I got out of it the back and fourth joisting matches take too long. Gets boring after about 3 mins. Team battles are alil different . KOS my old squad and DSA use to have some amazing battles. We would troll/gank all the good spots to get DSA to try and come run us out. They always acted like the "good guys" unless they was ganking someone. the good ole days

    So 3 PA damage vs. fdl pris shields seems to be 5% but usually 2%, about the same as the 2 rails (in this case). I’m not patient enough for that 😆

      It is about how many pips you have on system. If you can catch your opponent while he is recharging weapon/engine capacitor, you will do more damage.

      @@corapopjug For some reason, because it's more obvious with engines & weapons, apparently I didn't want to think pips scaled so much with shields as high as they do, but it adds up. Thank you

    New player here: why does everyone use PAs in a FDL? It seems extra hard - and annoying - to hit anything with a projectile this slow. Is the overall time to kill really still faster than if you mounted something that isn't this cumbersome to use?

      PAs have more damage than other weapons. They come along good with agile ships like fdl. Satisfying to use. You will get used to it with practise. Not my favourite weapon but still feels good.

      ​@@corapopjug I see. But suppose I don't care about "satisfying" and just want the most effective weapon - is PA it? (You said more damage, but is it enough to account for the lower hitrate? Will nothing else give you a lower time-to-kill? In the vid you clearly know how to use them, but still miss a lot.)
      And what is your favourite weapon?

      ​@@MarkusRamikin This video is not a good example on aiming, yes :D . My fav is rail gun. An average 1v1 goes between 7-12 minutes (fdl vs fdl). You cant melt your target because he knows when to brace and when to shoot. But in wing fights PA and rail guns are deadly. For both you have to invest your tme to practise first to use them effectively. In fact, the effectiveness of the weapon depends in piloting. For me, railguns are most effective.

    Newb Q: why can ships still fly around with 0% Power Plant? (I've noticed w fightin NPCs that happens all the time...also it's very rare that they explode from PP reaching zero....)

      Yes, ship can fly with %0 PowerPlant. After it is %0, it will hava a chance to explode for eachshot. I don't know mathematical calculation of it. It could be 1 shot or 5 shots, basically just chance :D

      @@corapopjug THANKS! I suspected that...and since i always target PP when i start a PVE, i would say it's quite low... Like maybe 1:20 roll?....

      @@OldManPaxusYT It also depends on ship's hull resistances, module reinforcement packages, weapon's breach chance, ship's angle. In PvE ship's hull and MRPs change by NPC's rank.
      I have seen ships blow up at %70 hull and %0 powerplant. Also ships which don't blow up at %0 powerplant hold on until hull goes %0 :D It is all chance :/

      before oddy was around i remeber once pp was at 0% u would normally explode straight away , game is now fucked but I still love it :P

      @@OldManPaxusYT 0%PP still produces 40% of it's power. Put 1 priority only for necessary modules (engine and others) and watch in coriolis so 1st priority modules use less than 40%. For example, my 5PA FDL can fly with 0%PP and shoot with 3 PAs (only 2PAs will be off). And having armored PP you have good chances not to explode for a long time
