Quick, easy to follow instructions and the video isn't unnecessarily 30 minutes long. I actually jumped out (not literally 😂) out of the bed so I can run to the hair store to grab some hair to try this. Thank you 😊😊
If I could give you 5 thumbs up I would because this was quick, simple, visible tutorial that I can follow!🎉 and your hair looks great and so natural...this is exactly what I was looking for ❤❤❤
i am going to Miami carnival this year and i will be trying this style for it. It looks so beautiful! thank you for the video, video's like these give me faith in tackling my 4C hair 💘💘
I’ve been trying to learn how to do different styles for my husband (I have long straight hair I can’t even style so his long 4c hair has been an extra challenge). This video is such a good, to-the-point explanation and I love that you aren’t burning the hair or using glue to secure it. Thank you so much for helping me through this journey!!!!
Thanks for this tutorial. I am becoming more patient in learning how to convert styles. So I am going from stale knotless to faux locs! Will try this to see how it works.
This was an awesome easy tutorial!! I’m going to try this asap! Quick question if I want mine a little longer than what you did how do I do that and make sure I have enough to wrap around?
I’m loving your faux locs and I want mines just like yours natural at the ends but my braider somehow keep saying the only way to do it is to burn the ends or add that extra curly hair that I don’t like I’m going to show her your video. Thanks Again Beautiful!!
Oh boy, maybe she just doesn't know that there's another method lol I'm glad my video can be used as an example and you'll finally be able to get your natural locs, I'm just like you 😂if it doesn't look natural I don't want it lol 🤗🤗 thanks for the support hun
I'm definitely doing this next, I just have one question: Is it possible to do it a little longer? I want mine to be like 18-20 inches. Does it just depend on the hair I get? Thanks, LOVE your content!
Best faux locs tutorial I've seen and trust me I've watched a lot!!!! 🤭 Thank you so much! I have a question though. My hair is way shorter than yours, will this method work for me as well? Or do I need a braiding hair to help make it longer before wrapping with the Marley hair?
Awww thank you sooooo much 😘!!! This method can work for short hair however if you're only using one piece of braiding hair per loc, the loc will look thin when it passes the point where your hair ends. Because of this I would recommend using additional braiding hair before wrapping with the Marley hair
This hair tutorial is nice and all. I really appreciated it but I kept getting distracted by the lack of pores. Currently stalking her page to see if she released a skin care routine. Y’all, I even zoomed in and I still can’t detect a SINGLE pore. So basically what I’m getting from this video is if I try hard enough I can be almost as flawless with the perfectly oiled scalp, the amazing and long hair, the beautiful teeth, and the superior skin. Lol I’m done I’m done. But seriously, if anyone finds a skin routine that SHE does lmk and turn me on! Thanks in advance comment section 🤣😂✌🏾
@@ByReelWomen OMG, just seeing this and I am on the flooor!!! Thanks so much! I didn't even think you'd see these comments. I was so in my feelings when I typed all of this lol you have me over here trying to get my whole life! Thanks in advance love. Your channel is AMAZING!
Hey girl, I've tried two methods that worked for my ends- using glue (nail glue- I know it sounds crazy lol but it works) and knotting the ends of my locs. Which method did you use for your roots? I've never experienced mine unraveling before
Thank you for posting this method..I'm doing this and saving $250..this money hugry freak wanted to charge me all that money ...she not getting my money
👋🏿 Hello, Do you (or anyone else reading this) think that anything bad would happen if I applied a hair lotion to my plaits as I wrap the Marley hair on? I am worried about my natural hair getting dry underneath the style so I wanted to infuse a bit of moisture. But I don't know if that would cause the hair to fuzz quicker or do something negative to my actual hair. Any tips or guidance is appreciated. Plz & Thnx. EDIT: I don't have a latchhook so I'm going to attempt this without weaving it/crocheting it underneath at the roots.
Hey hun, no I dont think anything bad will happen if you add moisturizer to your hair before wrapping it. If you're attempting this style with out a latch hook then I'd recommend wrapping tightly a few times a the roots to secure it
@@ByReelWomen So...I was unsuccessful 🥺😮💨 When I tried to tie off the ends it wasn't discreet at all. There was just a giant looping mess. I then tried to use rubber bands to close them but the loc would try to unravel itself. The ones I managed to get to stay in...well they are in but this style isn't even remotely as neat or as uniform as yours 😵💫😓 This was such a clear and straight forward video, idk how I'm getting this wrong. Smh.
@@NellenelleForSure oh boy, so sorry to hear it didnt work for you! the type of wrapping hair I used is naturally thinner at the ends so when I tied the ends with a knot it was not as noticeable. Dont beat yourself up too much about it, as it was only your first time trying. If you really want to keep it in then I'd recommend trying the glue method, which is definitely alot easier and your locs will not unravel as you would need to cut the glued ends off to remove it.
Hey hun, this style gets better with time..... The frizzier it gets the more natural it looks. I left mine in for around 3 weeks because I missed my curls but I could've kept it in longer.
Quick, easy to follow instructions and the video isn't unnecessarily 30 minutes long. I actually jumped out (not literally 😂) out of the bed so I can run to the hair store to grab some hair to try this. Thank you 😊😊

That's probably happening because the hair that you are wrapping isn't thick enough, try using bigger pieces
