I wish I could scream from the top of my lungs, letting all know who I am and who they are. But alas, that is deviation. I will silently love others. And if others are out there, we will find each other in time.
@KingKolunikus Hi. I get what you're saying here. I've read Leonard Jacobson's book, "Journey Into Now," which is a great guide through the awakening process. I recommend it highly for what you are asking for. -David
I know that I'm a dreamer but I also know where the present is. it's a place where I live on $33 a day social security and where I'm constantly treating joint pain. It's a place where I sit in a chair with a fishing pole and watch the water pass by as well as the boats. It's not a bad place being that I don't want anyting but at 69 years of age I can't help but wonder what comes next.
@GeneVayngrib The first two steps are no problem, but I do not understand the third one. I'm still in doubt about my "everyday self", so how would I even know what the true self is supposed to be, let alone be able to move attention to it? Thank you for trying, but this approach does not work for me.
Everything that has surfaced will had to surface through a present moment, everything that will surface will surface in the present moment. Anything that has ever surfaced will have had to of to surfaced in the present. It is the foundation and connection of all things there is 0 percent of existence existing outside of the moment it surfaces in and is impossible to imagine outside of a present moment, make sense now?
@Augmantius Well I get out and do things often , and i dont know what that has to do with anything. But the future is important as well as the present , the choices you make today is what sets the path for tomorrow. The spirit excist outside of the body once the body lives its course, and is to return to a new body until the spirtual evolution is complete. Some people do create a hell for themselves though, by setting goals not yet abtainable. being a good person does not happen over night.
All those enlightened teachers provide a very nice description of the process of awakening, but they all fail to mention how to initiate it. Being told what you'd experience by simply "relaxing into this moment" doesn't teach you how to actually do it. It's like telling someone who's having a spasm to "just relax your muscles". It won't help unless you apply the proper pressure needed for them to actually relax. Couldn't someone describe the mental "pressure points" that are needed to awaken?
@SilentBud420 There is no such thing as death. There is the infinite, of which we are facets. The mind is a navigation devise. The universe reflects the focus of our thoughts. This is the multidimensional aspect of the universe/GOD. If you think there is only one fixed path of time and space, you are wrong. There are many realities and many paths...
@Deathofatiger1389 I can't prove he's wrong and I can't prove he's right. That's called a hypothesis. If you spend a few more hours studying books, than watching videos, you might be able to tell the difference.
@wholelover And how the fuck can you prove he's wrong? Do you see or experience anything but the current moment? No. And nobody can be outside of right now.
if there is no life out of this moment then why do buddist talk about nirvana why do christains talk about heaven, why even be a good person if this is it
Leonard teaches The Truth, as is known within each of us. He lovingly stirs our remembrance of The Truth. What an extraordinary teacher.
Hearing THE Truth you just know. This resonates as the deepest truth within me.

I wish I could scream from the top of my lungs, letting all know who I am and who they are. But alas, that is deviation. I will silently love others. And if others are out there, we will find each other in time.
It does not matter where your mind is,You will always be in the present.

@David42670 Thanks David, I'll have to see if I can find the book somewhere.
when the dream ends the dreamer ends and nobody wakes up...who could possibly step outside of what is and point at it
How about there never was a dreamer in the first place? There is just life aware of itself. A dreamer is still just an idea

That's just another thought asking you to get lost in the mind some more. When you see through the illusion, what remains is the truth.
If Leonard were to ask SK Sum,
"What is this here present moment?"
SK Sum will reply,
"Sky is blue, trees are green!"
yes you can be somewhereelse. if you have the powers you cn duplicate yourself
@acuaman42 why is it so important to you to decry this guy? Do you have shares in Tony Parsons?!!

This is an example of someone with a theory, that's not proven, that influences others.
Just like all scientists.
Anyway, it's an invitation for you to prove it to yourself. It doesn't work any ither way.
Must see - thank you
