Today I have 3 spring & summer bee DIY craft decor ideas for you. You can even make some of these to gift or sell on etsy or craft fairs and even gift them.
These projects are unique, cute, easy and affordable. I use poundland and home bargains items - you can use similar dollar tree / dollar store products for your projects if you are in the US. The main items have been thrifted. Let's create some trash to treasure home decor in a farmhouse whimsical style!
First project I'll be taking a salt pig and transforming it into a bee diorama / skep / hive. I'll show you how to use trash to turn it into treasure by recycling some packaging paper and turning it into honeycomb! I'll also show you how I make faux honey using hot glue.
For the second project I show you how to make a teacup gnome inspired by my love for all things miniature & magical (and fairy gardens!). I will show you how to make the gnome arms, shoes / feet / boots and even how to create fake water effects using UV resin.
Finally, we will take a plain jug and using decoupage, transform it into a beautiful piece with a floral arrangement.
All these decorating ideas are in a mix of styles, whimsy, shabby chic, rustic & farmhouse. In the end, we make some beautiful high end home decor.

Oh I was wondering what you would do with the little pot....I love it....and didn't it turn out well painted bronze! Well done young lady.....always full of great ideas. The tea cup gnome is absolutely fantastic....I am like you and not a fan of gnomes, but have to say.....I love this and you are right...it is a labour of love and you have spent time of perfecting it. Again like you,.....anything in mini form of absolutely anything, I love too.

Hex honeycomb packaging you can buy it if you don't get any for free with something you've ordered 🤭 I had no idea it was actually called honeycomb packaging, I thought I was being creative thinking it reminded me of that!
@@LiyanaDIY I just used something tonight I learned from watching you paint. I usually get to large of a brush for the job. But, I was so calm watching you take small brushes and small amounts of paint at a time on your projects. Now maybe it was because of the size of your projects. But it stuck with me and when I was working tonight I noticed myself doing it! Also, I would venture to say that most of the viewers had no idea that packing material existed let alone what it was called! 😂 I sort of liked it that you had it and it looked like honeycomb! 😍😍
