A little bit further down the road from Bedford House you'll find another interesting spot, Sint Elooi, where you can still see two of the mine craters from the Battle of Messines 1917.

Hi sorry late reply, yes we have been to St Eloi a few years ago saw the gun and the mine craters and found it fascinating, regards James
