The clothes, you wore to Winners can be worn in a Catholic church in Canada, also no need to cover your hair. Watch out for sugar in almost all food and drink. Both America and Canada have an obesity problem, because of high sugar content in food, snacks and drinks.

Most of us living abroad gives showers at night, to make it easier in the morning.
I’ve never subscribed to the night (only) bath. I have 4 children and I bathed them all, morning and night, until they were able to bath themselves, at home and abroad. For me, it just meant getting up early and being very organised.
Enjoy the restaurants and cuisine, Neze. However, beware as a lot of the food is fattening. The very cold weather can cause the metabolism to slow down (tropical weather can rev it up). Add to that fattening and sugary food and you’ll understand the obesity epidemic in many Western countries. Good to keep restaurant trips to Sundays and good to remain active to keep healthy.

The endless shrimps takes long cos its prepared fresh. But it continues to come until u are filled up. I end up doing takeaways. Even the bread or biscuits. They will give you a lot for the kids to take to school. I love it

Neze, Red Lobster is not a Chinese Restaurant. Although, seafood is mostly been carried but you can have some steaks too with pasta, fries, rice with vegetables. The Children can also have chicken tenders. Enjoy it.

Hello Neze, I've been a follower from the days of vlogging in the car 😂 but don't comment 🤦🏽♀️. But want to comment about the drinks at restaurants. Most restaurants allow you to ask for a refill (especially for sodas/lemonades). And for suggestions on good meal places, Chinese buffet, and Indian restaurants are good places too.

I also dont like this thing of restaurants making you have a drink and by the time the food comes you have finished your drink then you have to order another one and they don't come cheap

That's the beauty and freedom one can enjoy in Canada. Everyone is made welcome no matter how you are dressed. No need for your Sunday best. I normally lower the oven, attended any of the 4 churches on the corner and get back home within an hour to finish my cooking and watch UK soap Carnation Street. There's no pressure of all day church service as often several denominations use the same building at different times on Sundays for their church service. No screaming at the audience, no judgement with promise of fire and brimstone. My dad would dress formally for church and scoff at idea of going there in his casual jeans and shirt. You can find dress up to the 9th all day churches if you look hard enough. Worshipping with others in Canada, you are welcome as you are - no need to overdress and force congregation to pay of church owned building to worship God.
Next time you could leave a customer service feedback on service you received and suggestions for improvement. 🇨🇦 is child, people, and animal friendly country very family oriented so there are facilities and accommodation for small children, people with mobility issues etc. Blessings to you and family. .
Be careful about food served in the church because most cases the individual members bring food from their home and most cases it's the left over food that they don't want to throw away to avoid waste
Not true at all. I’ve volunteered in the hospitality & welcome dept of many churches and there is a dedicated BUDGET for food . Food for guests , first time visitors, children etc. it would be a great liability to a church to serve leftovers to their parishioners or guests. I w personally shopped for the hospitality teams. Most times the shopping is done the night before and placed in the space dedicated for welcome, or if no storage space, the teams would purchase the snacks that morning . For foods like cookies, boxed juices, etc., lawsuit for food poisoning is not something a church is willing to risk by having their members bring their leftovers to serve. Besides , that would be just wrong, tacky and nasty.

That’s some generalising. We all know instances where the opposite of both is the case. I don’t know where Neze lived in Lagos but I’ve experienced this kind of service with my children in a fast food chain in Lagos. Let’s not be quick to idolise Oyibo and vilify ourselves.
Bathe them and set their clothings night before. God is not interested in what you wear but your heart.
