- Back again taking care of the ducks, collecting eggs and giving them a treat. If your new to the channel the flock consist of 2 drakes, 4 hens are Khaki Campbell and 7 hens are Golden 300 ducks. Thanks for watching!!! Like, Share, Comment and Subscribe it really does help the channel to grow.
Campbells are such sweet friendly ducks. Had some as a kid and they had such wonderful personalities

Where is their water while they are eating all this greens? Ducks need lots of water when they eat and need to be able to swish their bills out.

Thanks!!! Oh congrats on getting your ducks! They should start laying between 18-22 weeks old. They go nuts for greens, watermelons, lettuce, old squash or zucchini cut in half. There's some chick weed, dead nettle, wild geranium, dandelions, plantain and grass. It's wild stuff that I pick around my property.

@@pawpawshobbyhomestead4081 I'm amazed at the amount of people who buy ducks and THEN ask how to raise them, how to care for them, how to feed them and dont even know when they should start laying etc etc etc. EDUCATE YOURSELF FIRST! ITS IRRESPONSIBLE!
The ground must be very muddy to have you feeding them in the duck house again. Hard to work in those conditions I'm sure. Hope it dries out some for you soon.
It was just drenched and muddy! It's just a drag and you sling stuff everywhere. Oh it's going to dry out wait and see. Spring cleaning has begun! Hey your getting really close to 1,000 congrats! Take care!

Hard to see what kind of greens you are giving them. Can you reply on this? And question; will they still lay eggs if there isn't like wood chips, straw, or other stuff in their pens?

What type of vegis u feed them..they seemed more interested then normal feed.

Regular weeds, ducks tend to devour almost anything which is plant. Try feeding them watermelon, crushed apples, pear or even plums, you will be surprises how fast they will eat. Also try cabbage

This breed is very cheap and also they are meant for meat. Growing them are waste. I also have Indian Runner ducks
