My rooster took an eye out on my duck 😥

A few years ago I went out and bought myself a self start self push 22 inch deck legacy lawnmower, with my own money. I was super proud of it, it does a great job of my lawn and I enjoy using it. I recently loaned it to my Uncle and it came back like this. instead of paying to repair it he bought himself a brand new one for €400 and graciously told me use it when i need it. Didn't say sorry, didn't offer to buy a new blade, just told me to scrap mine. I wouldn't be entirely hands on with this kind of machinery, but i'll be fucked if i'm throwing it away, so thank you for showing me how to fix it.

The moment that the bolt snaps, all tension is taken off the thread. If you can get even the smallest grip it should freely Clockwise.

My sister has 3 of these but there use to be 4 one died sadly and she also has a bunch of chickens they are only for eggs and she says they will never eat the ducks or chickens for food so yay

Something else that works is cutting a slice with hacksaw or thin cutoff blade to make a slot an use a bigger straight blade screwdriver! Done lots of them! Also there are screw extractors called Grabit! Drill bit on one end and extractor on other work realy good also.
