I find vampires to be sad in general. Youll outlive everyone you ever knew and you also have to hurt those around you just to survive. Its a pretty sad way to live. On an unrelated note, the background was pretty nice on this one, really like the foggy windows and the castle lookin interior. Also cool little transitions at the start
Listening to this makes me want to give her a nice big hug. It is definitely not easy to always be cheerful on command, especially in the midst of a celebration like Christmas where the celebrations usually take place with a big crowd usually consisting of family members (some of whom you may not even get along all that well with). The bit about holidays such as Christmas and Valentine's day being simply reminders for some that they do not have the necessary means to even celebrate the day cut deep and hearing that was tough. But we persist and I'm glad the listener in this case is a vampire as well, and an experienced older vampire at that, one who is also a servant to the master. Sometimes, we just need a helping hand to pick us up and tell us that it's okay. I loved this audio to bits, from the script, to your excellent VA work and also the little video intro in the very beginning. It was all so well done and I applaud you for it. Keep it up!

I think that I understand how you feel, albeit not entirely. I have not put special meaning or value on holiday seasons for a long time (despite being only 22 years old), and the family's Christmas gatherings were always noisy, chaotic, and superfluous. I never enjoyed the Christmas lunch with my Dad's family (I felt too distant and disconnected), and Christmas dinner with my mum's family had its own roller coaster (I'm the 3rd oldest of 8 grandchildren/cousins). But thankfully after moving interstate in early 2018, it's only been me, my parents, and my brother (unless you include the 5 fur-babies, all of whom I adore deeply). I truly hope that you get to avoid that stress this year. I'd visit you with one of my dogs if I could, just so cheer you up on the day with her help. Please just take good care of yourself, okay?

The Master and his Vampire Associates were the first friends I've ever truly had. I was cast out of my home because I chose to practice Witchcraft, unlike normal Children. It was a Snowy cold Winter night, when I was found. By Spring, the Master's friends decided I'd thought hard enough about the Decision, and I was Turned. So now, I've become a Vampire, thanks to the Myaster's Decree, and when I have free time, I practice Spellcasting. I'm friends with him now. Maybe we could try to make more Christmas decorations. You could draw blueprints for them. And we could put them together. I Still haven't found my Diamond. Even as a Nekomimi/Human with Elven Ears, It was hard for me, trying to find Love. I know what it's like to be Alone. It's hard, at Times, but I know that there's always hope, and to be grateful for the blessings we already have. Hard times are painful, but pain makes us Stronger. Anyways, know that you can always count on us, and Merry Christmas.
