Bertec Balance Advantage Computerized Dynamic Posturography (CDP) Part 2

A physical therapist uses the Bertec
to assess and challenge a patient’s balance.
The machine allows the therapist
to find areas of balance that are most impaired
and develop a treatment plan to address it.
The session also acts as treatment as the patient is having
to find a way to maintain
his/her balance under all the different conditions.
Offering the latest technology, the Bertec Balance Advantage
utilizes an immersive virtual reality screen,
a safety harness, and dual force balance plate to objectively quantify
and differentiate among a variety factors influencing
an individual’s static and dynamic balance.
Under the supervision of a certified therapist,
the individual can then safely work on the
Bertec Balance Advantage
to reach his or her balance goals,
tracking their progress along the way.
