I'm impressed by the way the Kubota handled that massive rock. Any tractor, regardless of brand, is just a machine and it's up to the operator to make it function to its full potential. My dad used to have a saying that "any idiot can "drive" a tractor but it takes skill to "operate" one. I don't think I'd trade that Kubota for a Mahindra, not bashing the Mahindra but that Kubota of yours is pretty impressive.
Yeah I agree! The Kubota is a top notch machine. Thanks for watching
You do a great job maintaining your equipment. That rock you moved with your Kubota was huge. Hard to beat that tractor. I don’t know about Mahindra tractors. I did look at them but ended up getting a Kubota MX 5400 gear drive and I’m happy with it. I enjoyed the video. Thanks
Hard to beat Kubota! Thanks for watching
My arthritis started acting up just watching you getting up and down all day.😂Most of my place is on a limestone shelf and you find huge pieces any time you dig. We don’t see anybody buy Mahindra tractors in my area. Really enjoyed the video! God Bless
I think Mahindra is a good medium duty use tractor. I just don’t think I’d see the same reliability with it as I have the Kubota. Thanks for watching
Not sure about the newer Mahindra models but I had an 8560 Mahindra cab tractor. Motor and transmission were bullet proof but I had electrical issues and the cooling system had trouble keeping up while mowing and baling hay. Now I own a New Holland tractor. Love it!
What size New Holland? Thanks for watching
You could put a valve in your air tank that you can hook your compressor in to fill the tank and check for leaks without starting your bus inside. A thought
I have my white truck setup that way. Thanks for watching!
Thinking about purchasing a 1987 Ford 700 with the 6.6 diesel to haul my tractor. Do you know much about that engine or if it's a decent truck? 132,000 miles. 5 speed with two range rear diff
@@D2500R I think those are decent engines. Never been around one but also not heard anything bad about them.
Hi, the Mahindra works very well - such a huge rock... Always busy - Maintanance help a lot. Thank`s for share
Oh dear, Kubota of course...
Appreciate you watching!
Awesome getting things ready, I believe you have the right colors of tractors, and you in what you’ve got, God Bless
Yeah I think you’re right! Thank you!
Sorry about that I was watching some other videos I need to get to you but I got to yours now oh ok ❤
No problem 😊
@@khtractors sorry about that I was in school that time I got your message now ok
I said the same thing about that big rock about the same time you said it!!! Lol
😂😂Thanks for watching
I'm sorry about that I was watching someone's video Someone Else videos ok❤
Great video Ben.As far as a Mahindra tractor,I would stick with what I know.Have a blessed day and be safe.🚜👍👏❤️🙏
Yeah I would agree! Thanks for watching
i sure do miss them old buses, was way easier to work on in my opinion. we even had some international amtran genesis. now all we have is c-2 and efx transits... all Cummins.
Yes they are pretty simple to fix! Thanks for watching
I would not hesitate to get a mahindra if it was 2012-2018. Seems to me those were the best years from a steel prospective. If you can do your own repair work then any good deal is a good tractor; eventually lol.
Thanks for watching
I haven't ever used a Mahindra of any kind so I couldn't tell you much of anything about them. Your equipment is doing pretty good as far as running, good luck on the projects you got going. Have a nice day!
Thank you!
Good morning Ben. Enjoyed the video. Watching some documentaries on the coal mining in your area. I didn't realize all the history right there where you live. It was pretty educational. Have a good day.
I’ve watched those also. I remember the Coal Strike very well as a kid. Went to take food to my grandparents on the picket lines. Thanks for watching
Ben like to see the variety, thats a typical work day around the farm/shop. as for the mahindra, got a local dealer that sells them and lots of friends that work there in all the departments.....my advice stay, away from them...they may be a great tractor, but from what I have spoken to my friends about them is they hate to sell them because they know they have problems ...or will have... and they always have several units in the shop fixing major repairs and waiting on parts.....definately do not go from Kubota to Mahindra..I don't think You be happy...Just my 2Cents on the mahindra....you never know there mite be another M6060 Kubota near you for sale with a cab if you get serious...WINK WINK!!!
Yeah I agree with you and have the same feelings concerning Mahindra. Surly you’re not looking to sale? Thanks for watching
Great video buddy my uncle has a little Mahindra it's got some power behind it 👍
Thanks for watching
Great video that clay Bank look like it was hard
He’s in Southwest Virginia and it’s nothing but mountains and hard clay ground
Yeah I know I live in the next County over
@@midwayfarms which county do you live in
@@tucksmith8300 Scott County
@@midwayfarms I have been there before
What time did you get started, according to the cross clock in the gray bus it was 8:58 when you backed it in after you greased it, you are one busy man, but I feel like you really enjoy all the different projects that you work on, that says a lot about your character.
I started about 7:30. Thanks for watching
Howdy Ben , off topic from this video but is there any chance you could do a video on a clutch adjustment on a S-series international the 5spd with 2pd rear doing service on our truck before hay season comes on full swing and actually very little out there video wise
Depends on the clutch. Most I think are self adjusting clutches on the 5 speeds. You can adjust the pedal linkage some but that’s it. Thanks watching.
If I didn't know any better. When you were on your tractor digging. I could have sworn you were in Georgia lol. That guy that T boned your bus must be blind if he hit the bus lol.
I think he was on something! Thanks for watching
@@khtractors you're welcome
Ben i had a Mahindra max24 and was an excellent little tractor but the dealer i bought from went out with in a year. It was made by Mitsubishi AG. A family friend has a Mahindra cab tractor 4wd i forgot the model (70hp) but he had all kinds of issues with it and fight with warranty to get it fixed. I would consider TYM, Kioti, kubota, deere, Ls, new holland, MF. Last time i seen a price on case it was 1/3 higher than a new kubota m5 91 in Texas for a similar spec tractor about year 1/2 ago
I have lots of warranty complaints on Mahindra. Thank you
Have you taken a look at the deutz-fahr tractors I just got a new 5080d with loader and cab for 55
And already like it better then my 5065e Deere
Not in person but I’ve seen them on Marketplace. They seem fair priced and a decent looking tractor. Thanks for watching
What kind of motor is that in the gray bus looks like v configuration
It’s a T444E, basically a 7.3 Powerstroke.
@@khtractors cool learned something new never heard heard of one. Knew it wasn't DT466 cause thier inline 6
Any comments about TYM 654 and larger tractors.
No experience with them much. No dealers in my area other than what’s sold as Rural King tractors which are TYM.
I’ve not been on many Mahindra’s but the ones I have been, I wasn’t too impressed. I see a lot of dealers in our area that sell them for a few years, and then they don’t sell them, seems like an over night change. I’d stay with your Kubota or Deere. The dealer network seems better for sure
Good points! Thank you!!
As a former Mahindra dealer, stay away! They can’t keep dealers, because they won’t reimburse them for warranty repairs! I know this from firsthand experience. There are lots of warranty claims, too! Their quality leaves a lot to be desired.
I’m glad to hear this from someone who’s been there. I’ve heard this from others in the past also!! Thanks so much!
How long is an ower
Not very long.
