Production note for the race caller: I'm a big deal professional "Voice Artist", but mostly I'm a short track asphalt racing fan. The announcing here sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher. Or a Walmart page for price check.Or a New York Subway announcement. Anyway, love your enthusiasm, but... Watch the gain and modulate your voice. You can sound excited without screaming and if you have to scream, stand back a foot or two from the mic and make sure you are not "on the chip" as far as levels go. Fans in the stands are used to white noise screaming over the P.A. but the television audience needs intelligible communication. I've been waiting a long time for local racing to be on "TV" and I'm elated. Great production. Just a foot or two and a twist of a knob to perfection! Oh, Canada! xox
