I am a enthusiast photographer, I have shot professional quality images and I use old D610 a basic full frame of Nikon, this video by far is the best one that I have ever seen...
In general you are right. I am a wildlife photographer. We need better camera because neither the lighting is in our control nor the subject. We can’t control the distance from the subject and action needs very fast autofocus and subject detection.

Kind of disagree, I bad camera and lens will never produce good image no matter how skilled are you, Nikon D5300 was my first and worst camera, now after 7 years when I upgraded to Canon R-8 I hv seen huge improvement in my photography, my photography has not improved significantly but I am able to capture much better images, I never felt satisfied with my Nikon D5300 but from first day itself I am happy with R-8.

Maybe the 7 years of hard work you put in, has pushed you to another level. Photographers 100 years back shot photographs that modern photographers can't even think of. The man behind the camera does matter more.
100% agree with your point of view. At the moment there is huge pressure on photographers to switch to mirrorless. I am still using 5D M4 and have some great lenses to go with it. Honestly I have no intention to buy mirrorless for next couple of years. As you said you should no photography well and that's the truth. I am a wedding photographer and have won awards for past 3 years here in New Zealand and I think I am the only photographer in this industry here using DSLR :) No regrets!
I agree. Even if I limit myself to dSLR photography, I have used Nikon D40, D5100 and then D7200. Of course, higher end cameras offer better features for the convenience of photographers but it does not automatically mean that higher end cameras offer better results. If I have to upgrade my equipment, I would go for better lens and not for costlier camera body! Better lens would give me easily identifiable better results. Cheaper Prime lenses give much better results than costlier zoom lenses.
So true , many people especially novices want to upgrade to Dslr , Mirror less etc thinking that they will get exquisite photographs , but no one is willing to learn anything abt aperture ,shutter ,iso etc . Even if they learn only experience will tell them how to use it to their advantage at the actual shoot . A photograph is created inside the photographer's head before it becomes a picture 😊
Good advice sir. I have been using Nikon D5600 from the last few years. It still surprises me with features I was not aware of. But I found the limitations of this camera in low-light and bird photography. After struggling with these limitations, a need of advanced camera came into picture.
I agree as u said. But still I m not able to take decision which one to buy. I mostly use it for Wedding, outdoor shoot and I want to start cinematography also. Currently I am having nikon 7100 with kit lense. 50mm, I use this for studio. Which full frame camera of following I can buy for Cinematography, wedding, out door shoot. 2.8 aperture is must. Nikon z6ii, sony 7iv, or z6iii. Also suggest lense combination+body in budget.

Capable camera definitely helps in improved pictures. Just one studio example is not sufficient. Cameras have improved a lot from film era....improve technique by training and practice on low end camera, but aim for higher end camera to overcome limitations.

Exactly. James Bomd can finish an entire army of soldiers with just a small gun! Well said. It's not the equipment. It's knowledge and experience. I have an old camera with 14-42mm kit lens. Performs like magic. I have to adjust my lighting, shape it, move forward or backward etc. Some small adjustment but it works and the pictures are fantastic. Then Apple came up with 15 pro max. Imagine a smartphone doing amazing photography and videography. Maine kharida toh nahi hai lekin,amazed by the quality. Cinematic! Just don't spend too much on these things

Yes, if you know about Exposure Triangle, composition, frame, direction and intensity of lights so gear not a matter. Nowtimes demand reels, video more, so you need a mirrorless camera. Otherwise dslr enough for only photography
It is always fascinating to long for sexy looking lenses and cameras. So true that a little bit of mind and knowledge into your photography can translate into masterpieces photographs. I remember in good old days, I remember top photographers used to carry cameras that were worn out and looked really used. In fact it is better to make your camera an extension of you and your eye, than to invest on expensive & fancy lenses . Very insightrful and useful video indeed.

Actually update is necessary not only for photography but video because most of the clients or user are now into videography for instance youtube shorts insta reels now videography is the go to apart from photo.. And latest camera have better processor for 4k recording and more fps and 5 axis IBIS and controlles rolling shutter and video in 12 bit so get the latest equipment period.....

Very nice and informative video. Sir what is your opinion on using old large format optics on current full frame or crop sensor DSLRS? IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR NORMAL PHOTOGRAPHER S, AS CAMRA GETS LOCKED, But in India some juar can do the job. I want to know if such attempt is made , can we expect high resolution, better images over modern optics? What I feel we had strong optics and poor sensitivity of films, now we rely more on electronics and post production corrections rather than creating accurate basic data .

Irony of life is you yourself own all top notch cameras from Nikon z9 to z7ii to hazelblade and on the other hand you are recommending others not to upgrade.
Basically aim is to market photography course. Further, most importantly this all advices are good when it comes to indoor/event photography but for Sports, Nature & Wildlife Photography Speed, intake of Natural Source of light, low light iso, fast & precise focus peeking are the only key factors which doesn’t come in cheap systems.
Hi vipin, I have been using a7iii since 2019 and have clicked more than 233k pics from it. I shoot hybrid. I agree with most of your point here in this video. But with a7iii now I feel lack of good video stabilization .. rest all is good except that body is showing signs of wear n tear. And yes I don't shoot 4k fhd does the job. But then yes I do get tempered to upgrade to a75 in future. Your thoughts. I shoot weddings and sports
You should upgrade your camera, because you are a professional photographer and can afford a new camera, and also you are facing some limitations. Now as far as the wear and tear is concern, I would say that it is completely depends on you. I personally like my camera to look as new as possible .
Only cost to pay or upgrade is for speed ,autofoucs other than that everything is same if you know photo editing exceptionally good.Sure differnce in image processing with sensor,but if you take pics in RAW & while editing we can bring back what is needed.
Nowadays sensor technology has reached its peak. The further improvements are just incremental. So people are just paying for extra shutter speeds and all.

Inside the studio it doesn't matter what camera you're using but if you shoot outdoors it matters. Focusing ISO much better in Mirrorless than DSLR.

Yes, if you know about Exposure Triangle, composition, frame, direction and intensity of lights so gear not a matter. Nowtimes demand reels, video more, so you need a mirrorless camera. Otherwise dslr enough for only photography

It is always fascinating to long for sexy looking lenses and cameras. So true that a little bit of mind and knowledge into your photography can translate into masterpieces photographs. I remember in good old days, I remember top photographers used to carry cameras that were worn out and looked really used. In fact it is better to make your camera an extension of you and your eye, than to invest on expensive & fancy lenses . Very insightrful and useful video indeed.

Actually update is necessary not only for photography but video because most of the clients or user are now into videography for instance youtube shorts insta reels now videography is the go to apart from photo.. And latest camera have better processor for 4k recording and more fps and 5 axis IBIS and controlles rolling shutter and video in 12 bit so get the latest equipment period.....

I swear you are 100% correct. I bought Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, but I cant take good pictures. I am so much frustrated. I don't know how to take good pictures. Very nice and informative video. Sir what is your opinion on using old large format optics on current full frame or crop sensor DSLRS? IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR NORMAL PHOTOGRAPHER S, AS CAMRA GETS LOCKED, But in India some juar can do the job. I want to know if such attempt is made , can we expect high resolution, better images over modern optics? What I feel we had strong optics and poor sensitivity of films, now we rely more on electronics and post production corrections rather than creating accurate basic data .

Irony of life is you yourself own all top notch cameras from Nikon z9 to z7ii to hazelblade and on the other hand you are recommending others not to upgrade.
Basically aim is to market photography course. Further, most importantly this all advices are good when it comes to indoor/event photography but for Sports, Nature & Wildlife Photography Speed, intake of Natural Source of light, low light iso, fast & precise focus peeking are the only key factors which doesn’t come in cheap systems.
He knows how to use it..
most of professional photographers knows. Limitations start only after 5-6 years of core use.
Hi vipin, I have been using a7iii since 2019 and have clicked more than 233k pics from it. I shoot hybrid. I agree with most of your point here in this video. But with a7iii now I feel lack of good video stabilization .. rest all is good except that body is showing signs of wear n tear. And yes I don't shoot 4k fhd does the job. But then yes I do get tempered to upgrade to a75 in future. Your thoughts. I shoot weddings and sports
You should upgrade your camera, because you are a professional photographer and can afford a new camera, and also you are facing some limitations. Now as far as the wear and tear is concern, I would say that it is completely depends on you. I personally like my camera to look as new as possible .

This man is still living in DSLR era. He is 8 years behind the rest of other photographers.
Only cost to pay or upgrade is for speed ,autofoucs other than that everything is same if you know photo editing exceptionally good.Sure differnce in image processing with sensor,but if you take pics in RAW & while editing we can bring back what is needed.
Nowadays sensor technology has reached its peak. The further improvements are just incremental. So people are just paying for extra shutter speeds and all.
