- You people have been asking my opinion between these two games so I figured I'd show you gameplay on basically the same track in both games and you guys can decide for yourself! Enjoy!

Monster energy supercross looks like mx sim on arcade mode with scripted whips. Mx vs atv All out looks like reflex and unleashed had a kid that's struggling in school because hes a little "different".

MX vs ATV: Bike/Rider is to small, A bit long in the air and weird looking cornering. I really can't decide, if i like this game more than the last two games of MX vs ATV... it isn't the step i suspected. On the other hand: They have so much gear, when you came up short is looks more real to me and the ground is better than the custom tracks of Supercross (real tracks are pretty good)
Supercross: Somethimes a bit to small in track wide, came up short is really strange and i really was hoping for a Monster Energy graphic kit because that is the primary sponsor. On the other hand: Really good cornering, much gameplay, Many things to customise and a big step forwards comparing to MXGP3
Graphics - ME
Air Physics - MvA (although it feels a little floaty for my taste)
Ground Physics - ME (the one thing milestone consistently does great)
Customization - ME (way better fonts and way more immersive)
Game Modes - MvA (just a lot more options)
Roster - ME (Hands down the better roster with all the top supercross riders other the Tomac)
Career Mode - ME (no explanation needed)
AI - Both have awful ai
It really just comes down to preference of hitting huge jumps or racing.
I personally prefer ME for the immersive career mode. Plus pay2021's mod adds some amazing skins for bikes and gear that add to the immersion.

Man if monster energy had unscripted whips the game would hands down the mx game of the year.

Dean Caudill It's funny you say that as I barely have any problems playing supercross on my X. Hands down my favorite dirt bike game. Having this and the upcoming MXGP4 is going to be cocaine and sex lol.
GeetarGeeker preach. It’s literally a game made for the one X so obviously it’s gonna be bad on a one or one S. All out is just garbage on both. I personally think that supercross is the best mx game by far other than the issues online
For the record, I like both games! I enjoy playing them both and would recommend anyone who likes one of these games should also get the other. I'm not trying to spark a debate with this video, more just showing how starkly different each game is, but in a good way. It's nice to have variety!

Cool comparison. From this I'd say MESX wins at sound, graphics, 1st person view, scrub effect, and corner control realism.
I'd give MXvsATV the win on whips just because they aren't scripted, but they look so ridiculous that I'll call it a tie. Personally I play every moto game in first person so I couldn't care less what the whips look like.
Hopefully milestone takes what they've done with MESX and translates it into the next MXGP along with a few other improvements.
MXvsATV is stuck in an awkward place between the super fun but not at all realistic ATV Off-road Fury series and a half attempt at realism.
All out looks like that 2xl Supercross mobile game. Eek. I'm sure I'll have fun playing it, bit the milestone game looks much more realistic.
Once you start figuring out how to play All Out you may feel the same as I do and enjoy it much more, seriously! It has SO many possibilities. Just the whips alone, once you learn the basics, you'll find have endless styles. The game has it's weaker spots but then again what game doesn't. All the high marks make for an addicting game. If this isn't a home run yet then just you wait because this is a big jump the right direction after a long hibernation for THQ and Rainbow.

don't need to choose dude, you can get both! They are both different types of games but they are each fun in their own way. I found that supercross blew away my expectations and tbh so did mx vs atv all out

I understand that games are hard to make but at the day in age where our technology can do so much with so little effort, one would think that a company could use realistic sounds, and make a decent physics system that is forgiving but still realistic. Ultimately I am more impressed with MESX than AO (although they both have their flaws) simply because of the advancements since the last game this studio put out. All out seems to me like it is a game that one could have seen released back on the old consoles. There is a difference in the two games yes but with the track record that MX vs ATV has they are defiantly not living up to their names.
They really went back to their roots on the physics of the new mva. Looks like it plays like unleashed haha
MES is all out the best mx game. Milestone understand what mx game is all about and they are just starting. Supercross looks way more realistic and with real tracks and bikes, gameplay, size of the bike and track are spot on, graphics way too good. This should be the Forza of mx games. I'm pretty sure a replica of the AMA Nationals will be made as they are releasing a new MXGP PRO in June. I stopped playing MX vs ATV after Reflex. It was just a downhill from there. And one other thing that keeps me playing the MES is the game replay. I get to watch my own character race against the top pros lol! Awesome! Thanks to Milestone! Hats off to you guys!!!

Looks like both games do certain things well. But after playing Sim and Reflex (and other MvA games) for an insane amount of hours, neither draw me in.
Got an unrelated question for you man. Ive been playing reflex pretty hard lately and irl im a 2 stroke guy. I am wondering, when you put the fmf gnarly pipe on the 250 2 strokes, the power goes WAY up, significantly more than any pipe on a 450. Im curious, are the 250 2strokes faster than the 450s because of this? I am flying on this damn 250 2 smoker but i wanna set some fast lap times and not sure if i should switch over. What do you think is the fastest personally? I know tuning has a bit to do with it as well but those statistic bars seem to favor the power on the 250 2 strokes majorly. Any input?

In all out the turns have godlike traction you can literally throttle through the whole entire corner without braking in monster the corners are way better it just has more flow and the body movement of the rider is more fluent
Can I ask what platform you're playing it at? Everyone says All Out has less frame rate issues on PS4 than Xbox One S, is that true. I haven't played this game yet but from what I have seen it looks a lot like the 1st Unleashed game, very arcady and hi speed but fun to play. I loved to do big transfers "a la Windham" on that game!
I play All Out on the PS4 and PC. This video was on the PS4. There are some lag issues still but not nearly as bad as it was at the release of the game

How can you say the physics are better in MX vs atv 😂 looks like the rider is almost road racing around the turns just leaning the bike over and tracking round without the slightest bobble. The whips are slightly better looking but you don’t throw a whip down like that of every jump in real life either. Supercross is a lot better with cut backs and line choice and the rider looks way better on the bike. Only downfall is the whips and the things to do with the in air physics could use some work but that is the hardest bit to get right. MX vs atv looks like it is made 10 years ago at least
All out is allowing you to pin it everywhere with very unrealistic wrecking algorithms. You can land flat in a corner going 45 mph and still make the turn, where as supercross you have to use the break, rider weight, and throttle to make the turn. The only problems I have with supercross is the loading time, the skipping of the music, and the scripted whips. Other than that I personally believe that MES is one of the better motorcross games I have played. Nothing will EVER top reflex.
I actually find that mx vs atv's wrecking algorithm is far better. You can crash from overjumping and casing. Ive never crashed from casing in supercross, and flatlanded the middle of a burm to make a turn without any problem
Freak1857 I get that. I’m not necessarily saying ones better than the other, I just think that graphics and sounds and what seems to be gameplay is just better on supercross. Now I’m not saying it’s perfect believe me. Every game has things to change, but some stick out more than others

Seems like nobody else agrees that we have two great games with different styles. It just comes down to preference. Mx/Sx games are better than ever this year. Everybody likes at least one of the games and if you don't you're just too picky
turn on the air control throttle thingy in the the settings makes mx vs atv all out sound better

To me Monster Energy looks and sounds better, and they have real riders and machines. MX vs Atv has way more things to do. Tons of vehicle types, huge outdoor tracks, free ride mode. I wish we could combine the two. In the end I think the replay value of Mx vs Atv wins out if I only buy one game. I like the outdoor tracks and using quads.

Physics/Rythm - Mx Vs Atv. Supercross seems like the bike has moon gravity and over jumps rhythms sections.
Sound - Supercross
Whips - Supercross, because Mx vs Atv always looks like he is about to throw a fat whip/oppo
Turning - Supercross
Graphics - track graphics Mx vs Atv, rider graphics Supercross
Didn't play any of these yet, going to get my All Out copy tomorrow.
But just for the looks, I prefer those big ass (compared to All Out) looking bikes in Supercross the game. These in All Out are way too small I think.
I mean in real-life we aren't playing with toys either, we are also old enough to play with the big bikes. :3

This game was a huge disappointment. Was able to play it really early and everyone gave me crap for what I was saying on my channel and yet everyone is saying just what I said..it's a let down I really thought this one would be the game to bring back that iconic MX vs ATV gameplay....

If you want to free ride and do massive whips. All out is for you. If you want the better racing experience. Supercross the game is for you. Both are great in their own ways.
Mx vs atv has the better graphics by far. More detailed textures and everything. Just has performance issues up the ass that are apparently being fixed

I recently bought me2..like the gameplay, but hugely disappointed that there's no freestyle trick options...soo looks like I will purchase mxvatv to curb that need .
All out is really fun once you get used to the controls and whips
MES: much better sound, better first person (fov and smoothness) and graphics
AO: physics by far, tricks, and content
EDIT: After buying and playing AO, I could safely say the physics are now about equal. The corners are horrible the average speed is about 40 and corners you could stay at 37, lose barely any speed and the tough block physics just plain suck, you hit one and 4 other tough blocks plus the one you hit go flying 29 ft away

I want the ps2 mx unleashed back. Graphics upgraded does not mean down grade the physics. This looks horrible on both accounts. We used to FEEL THIS SHIT. That’s what made it fun.
All out was the first motocross game I've ever played since excite bike. I was loving it at first. Then I played mxgp2. I hated that game for a while compared, but then went back to all out and I just can't now. I just don't like being glued to the track in all out and everything being generic. Looking forward to mxgp pro now that it's out.
What I never liked about supercross encore was the fact that the bikes didn’t feel like they were actually on the tracks but kind of floated around looks like the same in this game but I can’t bring myself to waste $50 on it so I haven’t actually played it. Monster energy supercross is pretty fun but it needs more than just 17 tracks because I’m only level 250 and I know the perfect line for each track and exactly how fast to hit each jump so it’s getting kind of boring
I'd like to see milestone do an all round MX game. Supercross motorcross and freestyle motorcross

Best comparison video I've seen for these games. Nice to see a video without some ridiculous intro with embarrassingly lame logo (just to remind us how "cool" they are), or stupid over-exaggerated voice. Monster is great, but MX vs ATV is a nice alternative to the stadium events, and feels similar to MXGP. With games like these and the MotoGP series, Is it just me or are the two-wheel games outpacing the four-wheel ones?

One is like Fifa, the other one is like PES, that's how I see the MvA vs MESX comparison. Both are enjoyable, and if someone could just make a beautiful amalgamation of the two, that'd be fcking sexy.

MES by far the best out of the two, all we need is factory teams in career mode and it would be spot on!
they should make a motorcross game where you can still steer and shift body weight but be able to shift at the same time without taking one thumb off the stick and still work the clutch. if i could do that i could drive it like a real dirtbike

both games are amazing but holy fuck mx vs atv needs some graphics help, anyway as i said both games are great but just have a few physics issues mx vs atv as i said the graphics suck and the rider is just a tad to flowy he just moves to fast on the whips,anyway onto supercross some issues are its way to easy to overjump the hell out of evry jump so custom tracks are a must to have a way more realistic feel,another thing is that the rider is still to stiff in supercross but ill give milestone credit the rider is alot better now,but my biggest issue is the crashes like how tf is it that you go for example face first into the face of a jump and go flying to the moon like just bounce up but not to the clouds like wtf lol,anyway this has nothing to do with supercrosses issues i just wished we could fill in our custom tracks with signs etc like the regular career tracks just my oppinion tho

Mx vs atv can graphically be on that level it’s the issue that mx vs atv isn’t trapped inside an arena for every race it has huge ass free ride maps to account for while you only have to load an arena in super cross
i prefer MES it has more realistic bike sound and well its more realistic to me
Can anyone explain the actual difference in these games? I've just gotten a console and used to play mx superfly way back in the day. Every review says "I don't need to explain the difference " but then noone does

As I am sure most of us are motocross riders or at least motocross enthusiasts it is getting more and more infuriating watching these motocross games coming out... We need an EA Supercross/Motocross game again...

If only the detail from supercross and the physics from All Out were in the same game.
All out has room for improvement through patches, sound, gameplay and fps. MES is complete and finished and I don't really like much about it and as far as physics, anyone who thinks MES has more real life feeling bike physics has probably never ridden a bike with suspension befor.

Mx VS ATV Unleashed Remastered borrowed their sounds from MadSkills Moto 2
Super cross may have scripted whips but they look so more legit and you can actually scrub is what I like about it.
I actually preferred the visuals of All out in this (call me crazy, maybe it's the custom map arena), but the sounds need refinement. Everything in All Out has massive potential, but what the game dismissing in is refinement in certain areas. I'm not a fan of the perfect traction, or no traction situation either.

I have always been perplexed at how anyone can compare any mx vs atv with any of the Milestone games. The mx vs atv series is very cartoony, cheesy looking and feeling. I absolutely loath the physics in it, particularly the bouncy, rubber band movements of the bikes. The tracks are silly as well.
Every Milestone game from MXGP 1 to Pro, and both SX games absolutely smoke any of the mx vs atv games.
In fact, I just bought all out because they came out with the AMA DLC tracks. Those tracks are awesome looking and feeling, but there's still the cheesy mx vs atv bouncy rubber band thing which ruins it.
The random rev sounds on all out piss me off so much plus the bike sounds are awful in general

I got mx vs atv all out today and I did all the tutorials in the start menu but I can’t get events can anyone help me?

The turns on all out are like giant nationals bowl turns, nowhere close to realistic. You can literally just pin it and only use the left stick to turn and your golden.
I'm glad people who saved their $$$ to buy mx vs atv all out instead of getting monster every are bitching because I knew from the start that monster every was going to be better
