Hey everybody,
This episode has a brief look at the courtyard as it is in the last weekend of April 2024, and then more importantly, what colour plans and plants are there for summer.
Join me on an exciting look to the future months of colour for the courtyard.
Special shout outs to Susie, Nick and Ali who always drop by and say hello, and are growing their own garden channels, so do look out for them in the comments and drop by theirs to say hello, tell them Horti Hugh sent you!
Thanks for stopping by, and as always do leave a comment, and of course subscribe and hit the bell if you haven't already done so.
All the best,
Hugh

👋 Hello Hugh and Judith 😀 thank you for the tulip and bulb tips. Such a pleasure to see all your “treasures”.
Thanks for stopping by Susie, yes some of the Tulips are putting on a good show still, and we've one more pot to still flower. Have a lovely day there, Hugh 😊🌿🌷🌷
Shared to my Facebook. ❤ Have a blessed weekend my friend 😊🌹🌹🌹
Thanks Molly, very kind of you. Have a lovely Sunday there 😊🌷🌷🌷👌🏻
Nice to see what's happening in the greenhouses. How about the veg, Hugh? As the saying goes, "For every clematis there has to be a cabbage."😅
😅😅 Hey John, thanks for saying hello. Some nice veg plans, particularly tomatoes and courgettes, and we have beetroots and spring onions to pot on, along with the potatoes in pots, and beans beginning to sprout. Some spinach seeds have sprouted too. Might look out for a few cabbages now you mention it 😁😁 Have a super one there 😃🌿🌷🍅🥦
Lovely tour mate
Thanks for stopping by Mark, how are things there with you buddy?
@@HortiHugo good. I’m settling back into things. Been a bit of turbulence but landing safely 😂
@ArkansasWoodcutter Ah good, nice to have somewhat of a steady ship, and of course à few plants for colour and food 😅😊😊🥦🥦🌷🍓🍓🌱
Hi Hugh I bought a new fuscia for the hanging basket, i might try and make a standard from it if I take some cuttings. My gazanias are still alive 😂, i should dig them out and put into pots with some new compost in, give them a boost. Everything looks great Hugh, let's hope it warms up soon.💪👍🤞👌🌸❤️
I have no luck with fushcias. I tried twice. Idk what I'm doing wrong. I absolutely love them tho. 🌹
@@mollylittlewolf9192 some are not hardy and will not survive outside over winter. At least you can spell it.😁👍👌❤️
@@nickthegardener.1120 oh yes I know my temps here are freezing cold. But summers they do well for others here. I don't think they like me 😂 but thank you.. I wasn't sure of my spelling either 😂
@@nickthegardener.1120 I subscribed to you 😊🌹
@@mollylittlewolf9192 my mum lost her fuchsias to a disease last year, it's spreading across England.😞👍
