I think the main reason why bhool bhulaiyaa's horror works so well in the movie is because they actually never showed us the ghost like they did in bhool bhulaiyaa 2 like it was all Vidya balan and her powerful expressions which kept scaring us most of the time

It's a shame that he not even mentioned the OG movie from malayalam called "Manichithrathazhu". Bool bulayya is nothing compared to that movie, the transformation scene, song and climax of that movie is the best. It's a cult classic of malayalam cinema.

it was shown in Doordarshan long back also, in pradeshik film airing schedule which used to happen every thursday. Shobhna ji didnt just act well. She danced soooo well. The songs and music were very much in traditional bharatnatyam forms. Chitra Yasudas as singers. A complete package. It was only after 2004's resurrected kannada version by Vasuji that gained popularity. Manichitrathazlu was beyond comparison at that time.

I think Stree is the best horror comedy movie in 2010 decade. It also had many talented actor. Despite being a low budget film, it made 3 times of it's budget. It was an idol movie for all horror fans. Btw loved your video. Please make an another video on Stree 2 ❤❤❤❤

Basic research: how can you forget the iconic Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu where Shobhona's acting still gives goosebumps.
And yes first Bhool Bhulaiya was great as it talked about psychological disorder and not some mumbo-jumbo like 2nd part. Unfortunately psychological horror thrillers doesnt work and we get stupid films like Shaitaan with black magic and all.Anyway hope part 3 will have something interesting but i doubt as Aneez Bazmee is no Priyadarshan

No no The first movie was of Mohanlal named Manichitrathazhu in 1993 that got remade in 2005 as Chandramukhi with Rajnikanth and then in 2006 Bhool Bhulaiya was made which was technically a better story and performances by comparison and then we got an abomination called Bhool Bhulaiya 2 ( which had legendary comedians but problem is people and directors don't realise most often without good dialogues and comedic scenes you can't just tell an actor to say anything and that will make it funny by adding sound effects like wtf and Idc I don't like Kartik in that role of Rooh Baba I mean the plot of the movie was so childish and mediocre and mostly they showed real ghosts that take every essence of the first part and flushes it in the drains of hell.... let me explain those of you who think Akshay will be in Part 3 tell me what a psychologist will do against a real ghost or what will Kartik's Rooh Baba do against the real ghost because he is not an actual priest here)....and that's why for cash grab they bring OG Vidya Balan and they will ruin her with guarantee making her as generic as they did with Tabu in the second part

The film Bhool Bhulaiyaa film means a lot for me, this movie was the first Akki-Priyettan movie I watched released when I was 4 years old. I was very addicted to this film, ki main haunted house ki drawings banati thi and acting bhi karti thi horror stories banati thi, shayad tabhi se mujhe writing and direction ka shauq bhi hone laga. 📽
Jab main 7 saal ki thi to main Agra gayi thi for a medical tour, to jis hotel mein main rahi thi wahan apne parents ke saamne maine Manjulika ki acting ki and papa was joking ki arey aise mat karo nahi to poora hotel khaali ho jayega.😂😂
Main bachpan aksar apne do doston ke saath dekhti thi who meant the world to me, shayad maine kabhi apni Avni naam ki dost ko mazaak mein Manjulika to kaha hi hoga and aksar khel khel mein horror stories sunate they or main aksar horror stories likhti thi (though I don't like horror).
Abhi last year maine apne socitey ke bachchon ke saath ek Horror short film shoot karne ki nakaam koshish ki thi, usmein the kids were acting of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and script bhi developed nahi thi, to dekhkar bura laga ki aaj kal ke bachche log cringy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 pasand karte par kuch bhi ho, Bhool Bhulaiyaa is an emotion for me. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

BB1 is a remake of Malayalam movie directed by fazil. If u compare Akshay's acting with mohanlal you will find the real difference. It is funny u find BB1 is a cult classic. First watch orginal movie with subtitles then u have the basic idea how badly the BB1 is made. Moreover the manichitrathazhu script is inspired from real incident. Manichitrathazhu released in 1993. In my opinion BB1 itself is a badly made copy so why u compare that movie with any others. It is ok if u find entertainment in it but don't use it to tarnish other movies.

I think Bhool Bhulaiyya 3 will be much better based off the articles I’m reading online about it , Kartik Aaryan, Tripti , Vidya, Madhuri , Boman , Rajpal sir etc will be the cast and I must say it’s a great cast , I believe Kartiks becomes a better actor post Chandu Champion shooting, the script will be new, horror aspect will be increased according too Kartik Aaryans recent interview, and the film will have a huge dance number at the start of the movie with over 1000 dancers, so I expect a lot from part 3
But it is just another BB2 then I’ll be very disappointed.
Although without the watching it we shouldn’t make a preconceived conclusion all movies should be given a chance too be watched then make a critique negative or positive
What I think works for bhool bhulaiyaa 2 is not that people like its movie story or comic timing or any jumpscare what work for bhool bhulaiyaa 2 is the time it released at that time Bollywood was not making any movie good story was having lot of falls no stories always copying from South so when bhool bhulaiyaa 2 released the expectation was so low that people started to like it and Kartik Aaryan gave the big hit that Bollywood wanted😅
See obviously bhool bhulaiya 1 was a gem but I don't think that bhool bhulaiya 2 was that bad because there were many movies having 2 in their name but were flop so I think bhool bhulaiya 2 was a good movie but not that great as part 1

Stree 2 is smth i am waiting for but for the past 10 years i think stree has done really well it has that unknown ,incomplete mystery factor which keeps the audience interested. Even the ending of stree made the audience scratch their heads and made them question some very logical things

Bhool bhulaiyaa-1 mein actual real Manjulika ka bhoot bhi dikhaaya tha, jise dekhne ki wajah se hi Chhotte pandit(Rajpal Yadav) ka dimagi santulan hill jaata hai and he starts acting weird, jo ki then Durgaashtami ki raat ke exorcism ke baad hi Chhotta Pandit aur Geerija naam ki cousin dono poori tarah se theek hote hai. Agar actual aatma bhoot nahi hoti toh 0:07 Avni(Vidya Balan) itna bada aur bhari palang(bed) hilaa bhi naa paati.
