Perfect delivery brother! Thank you so much for reacting and sharing your thoughts.. and thank you so much for the shoutout too! Bless you brother 🙌
Thanks again for recommending !
It's hands down one of their most beautiful tracks.
It is definitely impossible for a synth lover to hide his nostalgic feelings. So sincere, loved it.
Thank you for watching
Arguably some of Tyler's best lyrics in my opinion.
That sax solo is out of this world too.
Yah I really really liked the lyrics in this one
As soon as he said "you break like waves in the ocean" and you smiled we all knew you were already there. This track and band really take you "there".
Truth J
The Midnight, September ‘87, Ollie Wride, Gunship.
These are kind of our pillars. I can always come back to them and feel the same way every time - transported back to my childhood in the 80’s in South Florida.
What a time to be alive.
Now watching this genre begin to penetrate mainstream iconic movies, seeing artists grow and evolve, it’s simply been a pleasure.
Every evening I’m Synthwave and Chillin’.
JB seeing the end of your video now me echoing your sentiment. We vibing.
ayeeee
I already knew you were going to smile when the sax would come so I smiled too
Dawwww 😊😊😊
I felt the same 😜
I mean who wouldn't, right 😁
One of my favorite songs by them
It’s pretty dang good
@@JonathanBelle you're starting to become a regular in my day, man. Keep up the good work. I've got a recommendation for you. "Hold My Weight" by Crozet.
Synthetic, Brooklyn and The Comet are my favourites
2:20 is just mesmerizing wow that synthy saxophone 🎷
Thank you 🙏🏽

- Gloria

Try listening Comet by Midnight
THE MIDNIGHT DONT MISS
This is the main Midnight song that breaks me down the most. Just guts me. I have to listen to We Move Forward by them after it to pull me out of it... if the hurt is too real. lol Brutal divorce will do that.
dang
@@JonathanBelle Just so you know i love the song. lol Its just deep with the feels. Know what im saying? Sometimes we need to cry. This song makes me go there. Its medicinal.
@@ThepowderbluesForum Oh I agree with that. Im saying dang cause im sorry that happened in the first place
@@JonathanBelle I appreciate that man. It was the upgrade to my system that i needed. Suffering and hardship makes us better humans. If we work through it. Synthwave is just that to me. Its dark when i need it. Its really motivating when i need it. Its just perfect for guy like me.
I'm really loving your constant development of visual design with your videos, making them look as retro as possible. Keep up the great videos my friend.
May I suggest another track? At 1989 - Missing You
Thank you Liam! I really appreciate that!
ua-cam.com/video/iTZiVPe1ujA/v-deo.html thanks for this as well
@@JonathanBelle , Could you estimate 'Have the heart' as well?))
Don't you mean "At 1980" ?
I listen to this song at least once each day. Helps me to relax and decompress after a stressful day. Beautiful music. Thank you for your review.
Another eargasm saxo ...the midnight is my fav synthwave ever ☺
aye glad you liked it
I hope there's a version on spotify
There isn’t.
@Rohlua Marohlua there is the version of Memories that they did live last year it never got into Spotify, I really love that version.
I feel like this song describes someone who's always felt anxious attachment or insecurity in love who finally finds the one who makes them feel safe. The loving understanding partner who when they 'bend' and come together, it 'mends' the anxious heart.
Damn, I never heard this track either and probably wouldn't have known about it if not for your channel. Love at first listen!
Why thanks Jason, And thanks for watching !
This song is an absolute dream. Strongly disagree with anyone who thinks this song is their worst and The Midnight is wrong to not give this song the credit it deserves. I get some people only like the fast, harder synth type songs but it's their fault for not liking diversity in their synth, y'all need to Bend a bit. With all do respect of course.
I totally see what you mean
A great track, and a hidden 💎 from The Midnight, nice to see you again mate.
Nice to see you too Rob
That look on your face as you were listening for the first time was probably the same as mine... It just gets inside you
It really does
….. The Midnight will never let you down……. Ever
Listening to music with you is one of the very best ways. Loving these reaction videos so much. 🥰 Thank you for sharing.
thanks for watching Wolfie ☺️
I love this track. The Sax is mellow as.
truth
My first video with you sir. You have a new subscriber based on the song alone. Such a great band to vibe too!
Why thank you, I appreciate that
Awesome taste in music! Loving your reaction vids. Keep up the good work!
thank you're much Andre!!
This kind of music is timeless..
Btw. love your videos man!😃 Much love from Germany 😁
it is indeed! and thank you Nico!
Funnily enough this was the 2nd song I'd ever heard by the midnight after prom night, i didn't realise it was a relatively unknown track of theirs but it confirmed my intrigue after prom night and wanting more of them 😃👍
Your reaction videos are great man, stay healthy and stay safe!
Thanks Fonz!
My man ! I watch your videos i love it it’s very rare to see a Synthwave fan here 🔥🤘🏻🇫🇷
Thanks for checking it out!!
Thanks for sharing! Didn’t know this existed .. great video!
thanks for watching Joe!
Simplemente genial😊😊😊😎💥🎶🎶🎶🎶😍😍😍😍😍😍
⚡️⚡️⚡️🙏🏾
❤🎷🎷🎹🎶🎶❤
i'm really liking the 80s vibe of your videos man. could you react to "glory of love" by peter cetera?
Thank you! I will look the song up🙏🏽
Love your videos!
Thank you!
Another overlooked gem by The Midnight. Very chill tune. I would really enjoy hearing this in concert some day. Endless Summer is still my favorite album they've released so far.
Yeah that would be nice. And yeah I think I gotta agree with you on Endless Summer
@@JonathanBelle Yeah I mean all their albums are fantastic but to me Endless Summer is virtually perfect. And the title track was the first Midnight song I ever heard.
Oh nice. The first song I ever heard was Vampires.
@@JonathanBelle Its funny about that song Vampires cause initially when I first heard it I wasn't too crazy about it. But after hearing it again when I saw them in concert it grew on me big time. Now its one of my favorites. Same thing happened with Crystalline.
Ahhh wow. Yeah crystalline is another one or my favorites of theirs as well. I am a sucker for sax tracks
Creative as this also Crockett Revenge is ❤️ 😀
That’s a great song !
Great video man. This song was such a gem to discover on the 5 year re-release of Endless Summer. Comet was cool too, but I just love Thomas’s tenor playing on this, especially at the end. He’s such a nice guy too, I’ll sometimes to reach out to him on instagram and he’s always uplifting and encouraging. It’s awesome when great musicians are also good people. I gotta record a cover of this sax solo
thanks for checkin out the video Sax. Yeah if you do a cover song me a Link so I can do a reaction!
@@JonathanBelle most definitely! keep up the great work
Would love to see reactions for
The Midnight - Nighthawks
The Bad Dreamers - How to Dissappear
The Bad Dreamers - Saltwater
The Bad Dreamers - Somewhere in This City
Kavinsky - Zenith
Starcadian - Gutter
W O L F C L U B - Sway
Love what you do, man. I've probably watched every video you have lmao.
Thanks for checking out my vids!
You can find Somewhere in this City on my channel as well.
It's been a while since I listened to the album, I thought Bend was ok. But my favorites from Endless Summer would have to be Nighthawks and Lonely City
Hallo!! 💙
Pls reactivos to The Bad Dreamers - Who you run to ♫♩
Please you must listen to FM-84 - Don't Want to Change Your Mind (feat. Ollie Wride) This song is just wonderful !!!!
I have heard that song before, honestly. However, if there is a music video to it that you really like, I can react to that.
@@JonathanBelle There is! the music video is made from scenes from the movie called Cocktail.
Hey Jonathan I hope you are keeping safe. Change of subject here and back to the Killers. I say I have all their albums but that's not strictly correct. The one i don't have is "Don't waste your wishes" the cd version is for sale on e bay for 175 British pounds so that's far too dear. Anyway luckily all the tracks appear on you tube and i was wondering which one is your favourite. Whilst I think they are all great my favourite is Boots followed by Joel the lump of coal and then Christmas in L. A. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hey Malcolm! My favorite Christmas songs would have to be “A Great big Sled” and “Feel it in my Bones”
@@JonathanBelle thanks for the reply young man. Its great how we all love different stuff. They are all great mind you. Thanks.
I wonder if I can also make a suggestion? Have you listened to anything from Le Cassette?
My recommendation is "This is all we know" or anything from him.
Liking the content so far man.
I can’t stop listening to “Arms of Mine” by them.
I don’t think have..? I will check it out. Thank you.
@@coreym0 all his stuff is amazing...My favorite is hands down Electric Paradise.
What's that cassette player model?
It’s in the description ⚡️
I’m an ITunes guy and can’t find this song on there. Was it at some point?
No, It was only available on a B-side vinyl I believe. Someone ripped it to UA-cam. so you'd have to search for it on here
do the Tyler Lyle, lost and found (the midnight remix)..
I will put it on the list
@@JonathanBelle very nice ..no sax but very nice
So all this guy does is listen to music?
Yes.
Sorry I for me this is the Midnight's worst song...There is a good reason it is not on any of the albums and you really have to dig around UA-cam to find it. There is also a good reason it is not on the physical Days of Thunder album. Tyler and Tim never talk about it and to my knowledge have never played it at any live show, It also isn't on their band camp...but neither is Lost and Found so there's that. The Song is too slow it needs to be just a little bit faster and while Tyler is a good singer. He just does not sing bend well at all IMO to me in that song he sounds whiny. I do think if they wanted to redo the song in a different way now it would be fine, but this song was EARLY EARLY The Midnight and you can tell.
I see your point. I like it tho.
