I bought a CLT and I love it. The clarity is amazing. The adjustements are awasome. Wearing glasses is not an issue. For a veteran welder it might be difficult to adapt to the auto shade mode. But it can be set to manual. I have one suggestion that could maybe be set in the firmware. When the glass turns OFF... I would like to have a few seconds of partial shade. Just long enough not to be dazzled by the hot weld. The lens is that much clear, that it lets so much light in.
I’ve got both, I’ve even got both speedglas g5-01 VC and I also have the speedglas g5-02 which is the first curved welding lens…. Optrel destroys boths the speedglas hoods LOL easily!!!
