You know, I really need to get better at not occasionally slurring or mumbling my words.

I probably should have caught this earlier, but now that I think about it I want to note that in hindsight the bit of information related to forcing Trigger Events is more of an assumption. I don't personally recall anything within and outside the original story stating that one could not force a Trigger Event.
I just assumed that you couldn't because while I believe that others can force others to Naturally Trigger, I can't off the top of my head recall an individual intentially trying Triggering themselves and succeeding outside of, well, Cauldron.
Also, despite how a bit dismissive it may have come across, even if someone did have an on paper "easier" Trigger, with full context it probably makes perfect sense that they Triggered. Without spoiling anything, the full context of the whole "fouled in a game" Trigger gives sufficient detail on exactly why the person Triggered. The person was under physical, mental, and general psychological pressure leading up to that point.

I love that triggers are traumatic experiences. It gives a great reason for capes to be as borked in the head as they are.

We're told about how and why you can't force trigger events during the interlude with Theo and his Mom at that university. Also, I think a more fair description of Victoria's trigger is that she was constantly embarassed for not having powers in a family of people who had powers for her entire life. Not only did they have powers but they were the "unmasked" heroes who didn't have a secret identity. So everyone could point at Victoria, even in civilian gear, and say "Hey, that's that one powerless member of that hero family right?" We get a lot more context on all of this in Ward if you haven't read it yet.

I have not read Ward, really should, just have not had the motivation to start it. As for Victoria, yeah, I thought about it more later and that would make sense.

Iiinnnttteresting. Seems a bit counterintuitive to be not motivated to read a series but somehow be motivated enough to try to make a youtube series about it.

@@MeemBeen To be honest, I initially "planned" to do things more related to Worm rather than Ward. It just so happens that I ended up wanting to do topics that had information contained in Ward / post-Worm content. More than likely once I get through the next 3-4 topics I will read Ward since at that point I'll probably go back to more concept based topics rather than factional ones.
But yeah, fair enough I should read Ward since I've already involved post-Worm content in this video.

These videos are great! Thanks for making these. I just wish the narrator's voice isn't so dull and boring, it's like they're doing their very best to seem unenthusiastic.

I can't really help if my natural voice is like that, but thanks anyway.
