It is a time of my return to playing videogames music. And here is an own arrangement of my second favorite song from TES IV Oblivion's OST - Auriel's Ascension. I'm in crazy love with main melody which lays down on guitar quite easily but the rest of song is a complete disaster and it was very hard to me to translate it. Anyway, I hope result is sounding somewhat nice.

I might be a few years late to the party but... wow. This is absolutely breathtaking. It's just divine on a guitar. Every time I listen, I get chills and feel... I don't think sad is the right word, but it's such an emotional song. I love this. Wish I could listen forever.
ah... i came up with an arrangement, went on youtube, and found someone who arranged the main melody exactly the same way I did and then did a much better job than me at arranging the rest. Beautiful work.

Ага, строй гитары стандартный. Я в Обливион не очень много играл, потому что он огромный да и мне мотивации со временем не хватало, но бесцельно бегать по лесам было очень здорово под эту тему =)

+ImpulseFlash It's hard to me to say exactly since I bought that guitar from ebay and can't find the listing, but from some research it looks to be: all solid German Spruce top, Indian Rosewood sides, Honduran Mahogany back. Though, as for me, it sounds more like cedar top guitar, which confuses me a bit =)

+Francisco Geyne Thank you! This is quite old Aria AC-80 (more than 40 years) with really great strings (LaBella Argento Pure SIlver High Tension). And strings really matter a lot. I've put some other recently on this guitar and it started to sound much worse than this.

+Green Ray Пока в планах не было. У меня кроме нынешнего желания наконец записать исполнения ряда не своих аранжировок из разных Elder Scroll, и как минимум одной своей оттуда же, на далекое будущее пара тем из первой и второй Guild Wars было, но это не очень скоро будет. У меня еще Pirate Town Part 2 из второго Risen'а и еще пара тем из третьего ведьмака до сих пор не сделаны, пока не очень идут, потому я и переключился на другое =)
Что же, будем ждать, интересно будет послушать.)
